Dashboard provides comprehensive network security and management capabilities
I don't have specific handy names. Meraki Dashboard uses multiple functions where we can configure SSIDs, firewall policies, DHCP, multiple VLANs and DHCP configurations, VLAN configurations, access control policies, MAC binding, client access based on MAC authentication and certificate-based authentication. We have configured SSO for Windows Active Directory by configuring the RADIUS services. We have implemented many customer requirements in Meraki Dashboard. With the detailed visibility feature of Meraki Dashboard, I get connected clients information, including how much data each client downloaded and what applications they accessed. I can obtain detailed data including ISP links level monitoring and speed. I can perform speed tests, generate analytics reports, convert to Excel based on each user for each department, create dashboards, monitor and limit bandwidths, and restrict specific URLs. The advanced security configuration in Meraki Dashboard is useful for network security. Substantial security can be achieved within Meraki Dashboard itself, eliminating the need for additional firewalls to protect your network. You can configure WAN monitoring, users' ACLs, URL filtering, web filtering, and department-wise access configuration for specific client applications. It's completely cloud-managed, and in a simplified way, you don't need to visit any physical infrastructure to monitor activities. Apart from access points, everything is in the cloud. We have monitored IoT solutions, CCTV monitoring, and can detect and control intrusions. When people connect IoT devices to your network, Meraki Dashboard can detect what device it is and control those access controls, even with different operating systems.

"The product helps users stay on top of gaining insight into the active directory, permissions and security sets, and user group policy changes."
"The technical support is good."
"I would suggest you use this product as it's easy for administration, and is based on distributed model support."
"Customer Service: Absolutely fantastic."
"The primary use case of this solution is to manage and to protect the web servers, the mail server, and the website in my company."
"All I know is that when it comes to managing the active directory, ManageEngine is something I consider to be the best."
"The hardware of Meraki is very good quality."
"For small businesses, I would recommend Meraki over pretty much anything else on the market."
"The initial setup was easy."

"When we went to Meraki Dashboard, we were so happy we were jumping up and down."
"I use Meraki Dashboard for monitoring purposes, the detailed visibility feature of Meraki Dashboard is useful for troubleshooting purposes, and it helps a lot."
"The stability has been amazing. I don't have to manage it a 10th as much as I have to manage my Cisco stuff."
"Every time we've deployed it, it's fantastic."

Cons

"We would like to have support for integration with ServiceDesk."
"The ManageEngine features could improve to show graphs of the traffic and network utility."
"The product could use more intelligence, automation and general availability of product information."
"ManageEngine needs to fix the downtime scheduler for SNMP monitored devices. Alarms are still generated for the devices placed into scheduled maintenance."
"The GUI could be improved."
"This is because of the lack of available technical knowledge in terms of competence and maximizing the power of the product."
"The solution can be expensive."
"Regarding Meraki Dashboard, I would suggest improvements to Cisco ISE integration."
"Lacks an alert notification when there are IP or DNS issues."
"The biggest problem is the absence of a VPN client like AnyConnect with the device."
"As far as scalability, the product is not very scalable. The product will only be fit to cover small to medium businesses and Cisco is not likely to improve on that scalability as they have other products in line for the larger market."
"Meraki Dashboard could improve the user interface by making it more user-friendly. The configuration can at times be difficult."
"They can improve the landing page in Meraki Dashboard. When I go into an organization, they can include a lot more infographics."
"I would like to receive decent notification alerts regarding the license's expiry. Or any help on correcting or optimizing licenses, because in certain circumstances you can add a license but it's the wrong licensing. However, the Dashboard adds the license in some way, and you do not utilize it. You can simply extend the license's expiration date."
