Good video conferencing but it needs to support third-party hardware
We are using Lifesize for video conferencing and virtual meetings The most valuable feature is video conferencing. This solution needs better platform integration with third-parties such as Microsoft and Cisco. It needs support for third-party hardware as opposed to only Lifesize-branded…

Utilizing versatile features for efficient personal and work meetings
Zoom offers a number of interesting and valuable features. One of the most interesting is the ability to share only audio and provide ambient music without sharing a screen. The breakout room feature is much more developed than other solutions, allowing users to stay in the same meeting and move to different rooms and back to the main room. The sharing features are great for projecting people who should be in focus. Another valuable feature is the virtual entrance, which uses a username and password recognized by the Zoom system, showing the person's full name and ID. Additionally, the use of video and a good fixed background improves visibility compared to other applications. These features differentiate Zoom from others.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is video conferencing."
"The interface is very intuitive. It's very easy to use."
"The stability has been good overall."
"The initial setup is very simple."
"The tool has made remote work possible for us. It's not just about the technology but also about staying connected with colleagues. ..........I can share documents directly in the chat during meetings, which is helpful, especially when collaborating with my project team. Before, I had to download the chat manually, but now I can see all the chat directly in the Zoom application. Plus, I can automatically save the meeting chat to my computer."
"The most valuable features are the video conferencing and the whole invite to set up a meeting is really easy to figure out and use. The chat functions are pretty simple as well."
"The solution is much better and more reliable than Microsoft Teams or Webex."
"The video stream is very cool, and it's an efficient solution."
"When there is a large number of people involved, I can pinpoint a particular person and I can message him in Zoom, rather than messaging everybody involved. I can directly communicate with that person and I find that feature very useful."

Cons

"This solution needs better platform integration with third-parties such as Microsoft and Cisco."
"The solution should include the integration of AI-based tools that could transcript or record the meetings."
"I think there are aspects that need to be developed. While I haven't identified specific areas for improvement yet, I believe it could add many new AI features, which is why I wouldn't give it 10 out of 10."
"The tool could be more user-friendly, especially for finding options to present screens."
"The product's stability is an area of concern where improvements are required since sometimes users get dropped off from meetings."
"In the past, there were some sound connectivity issues where I would get sound and no picture, and then picture and no sound."
"It would be useful, for my purposes, to be able to run a meeting like a webinar where the solution doesn't show all of the people on the actual call. It would be great if it had the flexibility to allow people to "hide" themselves from the meeting, or to give the person running the meeting the capability of choosing who could be seen, or not."
"Having easier access to recorded meetings, being able to download them fast, and playing them back would be helpful."
"They can make it easier to use and more intuitive. Ease of use is always a key for selling a product."

"Zoom is a very cheaply priced video conferencing solution, and using this product has saved our business a lot of expense."
