Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It really does help by either freeing up people's time to focus on more value-added tasks or reducing headcount. We generally have other things that we can get people to do, helping make the employees' work more meaningful since they are not having to do the mundane stuff.""We need to analyze documents in order to understand them. We don't need to dedicate much time to this because WorkFusion's machine learning capabilities are very good. We can easily extract information and classify these documents. The document processing engine is very important to our organization because it is the center for many use cases, as we need to control the information contained in documents.""The most valuable features are the Excel activities. It has a number of Excel activities that are quite reliable.""It's a pretty robust product.""The solution is stable, we have not had any glitches or problems.""We have seen Workfusion improve on accuracy and compliance... With the Workfusion model, we reduce human error and the need for further QC. We switch more to a QA process where we're testing whether the model is effective.""For automating mundane activities, I can recommend WorkFusion.""We recommend different solutions based on our customers' needs, and WorkFusion is what we offer for those who need a premium solution."

"We have been using Kryon Process Discovery for about a year now. With our initial tests and monitoring just a couple people, we were able to identify 79 possible use cases within a one-month period.""Attended automation has diverted 34 percent of training calls to our tech support centers.""I like Kryon RPA's ability to use automated and manual processes with any bot.""The bot is typically about twice as fast as a person and more accurate, as long as the data going in is good. That is the biggest advantage.""We use Kryon Studio to develop new wizards and we use the features to capture elements from the screen and automate processes... The screen capture allows us to interface with systems which don't have an API, or where the API is very expensive, and it allows us to do on-screen integration.""Kryon RPA is very stable - we've not had many disruptions, and the product is updated regularly."

"We don't have to do any coding. We just plug and play and it works.""VisualCron is a very powerful program to automate different steps in your business processes. We use it to automate replacing files and inform departments about the replacement."

Cons
"I would like it if they provided a more detailed roadmap in terms of where they are going with the product. As we are trying to make decisions about the things that we are going to do to try to augment our capabilities, we could know whether they are thinking about the same things or not.""We have had some problems in the past with the Inspector tool that looks at the elements on the screen. Replacing it or improving it is needed.""This is a Java-based application that takes up a lot of space and when it runs, consumes a lot of memory. This affects the reliability because it gets to a point where it hangs.""There could be better version control through their web platform. That is something that could be improved on. Integration from the IDE, e.g., from WorkFusion Studio directly into Control Tower, would be nice to have too.""One thing we didn't like was their OCR solution. We felt it's somewhat inefficient.""So far, we have developed only one automation using machine learning. The results were less than optimal. Part of this could be because of the use case that was selected. Overall, our experience was suboptimal. WorkFusion was an outstanding partner in terms of providing their experts for free to help us on that particular use case, but we still have a lot of things to figure out in terms of how to use its machine learning capability.""We are having some database issues, but we are addressing them.""We had some issues in the past, but it is fairly stable now. From what I hear, it is more stable in the later versions. With version 10.1.4, there were some issues relating to load distribution. However, it is good now."

More WorkFusion Cons →

"Kryon could be easier to use, especially in comparison to UiPath.""We have found some difficulties regarding the integration with legacy systems where the screen has elements in the Hebrew language. The connection to Hebrew, right-to-left systems, is more challenging.""The only unstable part is Studio where you build this stuff. In our version, the 5.25. It has a memory leak. If you leave it open for too long, eventually it just freezes. Saving your work, closing, and opening it just once a day is all it takes. However, this is a bug that I have noticed about the stability of the actual tool.""Kryon RPA's integration with other solutions could be more seamless.""I have seen some very minor occurrences where Kryon's interactions with Microsoft Office might cause the robot to hang. However, it is about one to two percent of the time where we are seeing this happen. It is such a small percentage that it's not even something that we are overly worried about. This would be where they might have some stability issues, but it could be the Microsoft Office API or how they are interacting together.""With the customer support, there have been some times where we have had to go through explaining the issue a couple times because it has gone through a couple of people's hands. There have been a couple of scenarios where we have had to re-explain the issue and bring somebody new up to speed on what is going on or what the problem is."

More Kryon RPA Cons →

"The only problem I face when I use the tool is that it doesn't contain much documentation or it doesn't have many video tutorials on its features.""There are some conditions in the mail trigger, but you can only use them as an "AND" condition, not as an "OR" condition. This is an improvement that could be useful. For example, some people put "invoice" in the subject and others put "invoice" in the body. If I want to make a trigger for everybody whose sending invoices, I have to make two jobs for this now."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I can't speak to pricing. It's a contract signed by upper management."
  • "We are on an annual contract to use the solution."
  • "My client is using RPA Express, which is available for them to use free of charge."
  • "One upgrade took a year to do, from the first server being built to the last bot being migrated. This was because we had to migrate all our existing bots. This is the same process and time frame that we are expecting towards the upcoming upgrade. I will end up spending half a million dollars to do an upgrade."
  • "The solution was not the cheapest, but it was also not the most expensive. Workfusion was very open to negotiating pricing and to working within the objectives of our firm."
  • "As a first-time customer who wants to engage with WorkFusion, not working for my company, then I would want to do a PoC. The cost is prohibitive because they will ask me to get infrastructure with six or seven servers. Then, you must buy a WorkFusion license to do a PoC, which is expensive. I would then have to set up a team to build the PoC and see the benefits. That is very prohibitive."
  • "We have a good deal from WorkFusion. We have an unlimited global licensing deal with WorkFusion. For us, it is a no-worry solution. We can go ahead and use it as much as possible anywhere we need it. If WorkFusion has a different kind of a deal for licensing with others, then their business decisions need to be evaluated based on that."
  • "The overall cost could come down a bit in terms of maintaining the servers. Because it can handle complicated things in big use cases, the infrastructure is also correspondingly big. It would be nice to bring that cost down."
  • More WorkFusion Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "They license per robot and we have 25 robots. You get so many robot licenses and can allocate those licenses to either attended, unintended, or Process Discovery bots. If you have 25 licenses, for example, you could have 20 automation bots and five process discovery. This allocation is flexible. There are also maintenance costs."
  • "We are probably saving $6000 to $8000 a month in labor costs. It's not a ton, but we're right around $60,000 to $80,000 a year with our current deployment."
  • "Kryon is slightly more expensive compared to UiPath."

Kryon RPA is a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient RPA (robotic process automation) solution that combines advanced IMR and OCR capabilities to record and execute processes on any application. The solution aims to provide organizations with quick deployment, reliability, and rapid response to change, and is suitable for companies of all sizes.

    Kryon RPA Features

Kryon RPA has many valuable key features. Some of the most useful ones include:

    • Credentials vault: Kryon RPA enables you to automate any login process without coding specific credentials into the automation scenario. Each robot can then access the target system with its own dedicated credentials when it is activated.
    • Immutable logs: Kryon RPA secures logs and provides full traceability into activities and robot history, making it easy to audit all mission-critical events and changes. In addition, by securing logs, Kryon RPA ensures that malicious-intended individuals cannot alter or change them.
    • Access controls: With roles and permissions, administrators can assign action-specific permissions to users or groups within the Kryon RPA platform.
    • Multi-tenancy: By implementing Kryon RPA, enterprises can host their RPA solution in the cloud and have the ability to also create separate, secure teams and environments.

    Kryon RPA Benefits

There are many benefits to implementing Kryon RPA. Some of the biggest advantages the solution offers include:

    • Total visibility: With Kryon RPA, you gain total visibility where it's needed most. The solution provides actionable intelligence for all the processes across your organization that are fit for automation.
    • Designed for business users: Kryon RPA has an intuitive visual interface, enabling users to record tasks quickly and to easily drag and drop process activities, so they do not have to rely on external resources or in-house developers.
    • Simple to use: Kryon RPA is designed to be intuitive. Interactive, and simple so anyone in the organization can easily deploy and manage Kryon robots.

    Reviews from Real Users

Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by PeerSpot users currently using the Kryon RPA solution.

PeerSpot user, Adam S., Manager, Application Support at a consumer goods company, says, “The bot is typically about twice as fast as a person and more accurate, as long as the data going in is good. That is the biggest advantage. I do like the feature if you find an opportunity that it is very simple to export the recording of that process and import it into Kryon Studio as a starting point to build that automation. It's a really good tool for our business process managers because they can take all that information to their constituents in their departments.”

Another PeerSpot reviewer, a Senior Systems Analyst RPA at a hospitality company, mentions, “We have relied heavily on the the data group base integration features, as well as the email and Exchange integration features. The ability to integrate with Office makes life a lot easier. The ability to integrate with a database is a big perk from a scalability standpoint.”

Guy B., Head of BI and Process Automation at a financial services firm, comments, “The screen capture allows us to interface with systems which don't have an API, or where the API is very expensive, and it allows us to do on-screen integration. The automation process is very user-friendly and the usability is very good. Developers are very satisfied with the system.”

VisualCron combines many features into one product. Through scheduling you can set your Jobs to run on a specific time or event. The Tasks in each Job automate scripts and eliminate human errors. Through various Tasks you can integrate different systems through file transfer and conversion.
