"FortiGate is on the cheaper end, and it offers good value."
"The most valuable features are the policies, filtering, and configuration."
"It can expand easily."
"One of the nice things about FortiGate is that it can be deployed on the cloud or on-premises. You can actually do both. That's the biggest reason why I stick with this solution as opposed to something like Cisco Meraki. Another nice thing is that I can log directly into a FortiGate or get to it through their FortiCloud access products. They're pretty reliable and consistent. One of the reasons why I started using the product was their single pane of management. I can deploy their line of firewalls in conjunction with their switching and access points, and I can manage the entire network from one interface. I don't have to log into one interface for the firewall, another one for the access points, and another one for the switches. These firewalls have access point controller functionality built right into the system, so I don't even have to purchase additional devices to manage them."
"Offers good security and filtering."
"The product is easy to use and is stable. The SV1 functionality is a benefit."
"There are great templates, so you don't have to customize them if you don't want to. You do have the option to custom create some folders and some reports, however, with what is there, you don't really need to go through extra effort, as they already give you a lot of predefined views of reports and so forth."
"You can purchase switches and you don't need to do anything with them. You just put in the firewall and the switches get all the policies and rules that you already have in the firewall. With Fortinet, you just connect the FortiSwitch to the Fortinet and that's it."
"The most valuable feature is the virtualization because it can be used for customers who are using the mobile data network to request a private connection to a remote site."
"I have used technical support quite a bit, and they are really good."
"The most valuable feature is robustness."
"We did not have problems with scaling, as we have less than 500 users in our organization."
"CLI: Junos CLI is very easy to use, and it is also very easy to find back items in the configuration and to change them."
"The most valuable feature of Juniper SRX is that it is plug-and-play. Additionally, it has a lot of capabilities in one device."
"There is a lot of flexibility in how you can commit, check, and back out of a configuration."
"It's easily scalable."
"We created and configured a VPN for connecting our remote sites and also to make it more secure and reliable. We also like its two-factor authentication features."
"Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend it for small to mid-sized customers."
"A valuable feature involves the solution's manageability."
"The scalability of Sophos XG is good."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is that the license offers everything."
"Web publishing is important, as well as the importance of the antivirus patch."
"Good security and a good interface."
"The solution comes with a common bundle which comprises all the feature."
"We had a minor problem where there was a major system upgrade on the hardware platfrom and the Mac client was not available as soon as it might have been. The PC client was available immediately, but we had to wait a month or so, before there was a mac client. I was slightly irritated that it was not ready on time, but it was eventually resolved."
"The cloud features and integration could be improved."
"It could use more templates for third-party site-to-site VPN setups other than FortiGate and Cisco."
"Performance and technical support are the main issues with this solution."
"It's my understanding that more of the current generation features could be brought in. There could be more integration with EDRs, for example."
"The UI could be improved."
"We were not able to build a full-mesh VPN; however, I am not sure if this was the fault of Fortinet FortiGate."
"Fortinet doesn't provide multiple virtual firewalls which would facilitate end users and customers."
"IPS is one that I would definitely want to be improved. I would also like SSL VPN to be integrated."
"It does have its nuances in terms of deployment. There are always areas to make something easier or more intuitive or make the system auto-negotiate more with existing hardware."
"The centralized management platform could be improved."
"The training videos that are available need to be improved, and made more educative."
"The pricing strategy of the vendor could improve."
"I would like to have a better web UI for administration. Juniper could simplify the web UI and make it more compatible with mobile devices."

"Improvements can be made to the GUI. The GUI can be improved by creating policies to handle IPS requirements. The configuration should be a one-step process. This would make it easier to complete the setup to register the time of operation."
"Support could be improved."
"The weakest point is the technical support because they are difficult to get into contact with."
"They need to allow their solution to integrate with other products and not just other Sophos solutions."
"An area of improvement would be the reporting as diagnostic graphs take a long time to load and refresh. If there could be an option to show only select graphs, it may speed up the graphics."
"The security of Sophos XG could be improved."
"The interface could be simplified and diagnostic system graphs improved."
"We are having challenges when using Zoom with Sophos XG deployed."
"I would like to next release to be able to support on-premise deployment. The construction of the rules within the firewall could also use some improvement."
