A scalable solution which is easy to install and use
I do not use the solution personally as I am not the end-user. It is merely one of the solutions that we offer to our customers. We act as consultants, solution providers. We have around 60 customers who are using the solution. I would, for sure, recommend the solution to others. I consider the profile of the project to be quite good at the moment. I rate Another Monday as a nine out of ten.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The initial setup is very quick."
"The solution is very easy to use."
"UiPath Orchestrator is definitely a plus point in the product."
"The most value we got from UiPath is the ability to automate manual tasks, reduce labor hours, and shift people to higher value work."
"UiPath has enabled us to implement end-to-end processes. That's important because we don't want to depend on third-party tools. With UI Path, all the resources are within the application for generating an end-to-end process, so we don't have to struggle to develop such a process."
"The most beautiful activity is sentiment analysis, where we can predict the good reviews and the negative reviews."
"Overall, about 25% of our cost has been saved."
"It's changed the dynamic of how we look at our processes and how we talk about why and how we do what we do. That's been tangible."
"With this product, we took that three weeks of data entry, times six people, and rolled it down to 12 hours of robot running, which was a pretty significant amount of savings for us."
"UiPath Academy courses... are our entire training platform. We brought people who are not IT-savvy, complete laymen who were not in IT at all, into our platform of technology. To do that conversion, the Academy had to be very strong."

Cons

"The solution should come with language customization, which would simplify its use for our customers."
"The solution should come with language customization, which would simplify its use for our customers."
"I would like to see the replacement of VB.NET with some more popular programming language as the program's backbone."
"My opinion on how UiPath Platform can be improved is that I dislike cloud or web apps in general, so getting all of the cool cloud features for Studio Cloud into Studio Desktop would be my biggest priority, however, that's a personal vendetta against web applications."
"The support for this solution is tedious. I would rate it a five out of ten. If we don't respond or the ticket closes, we do not get a response from them."
"The initial setup was in between simple and complex."
"Exception handling and exception details can be much better and more user-friendly."
"UiPath Platform can be improved by being able to leverage what we have, and from an AI capability perspective, having a chat or voice capability on the platform would be beneficial."
"The update process has resulted in several small issues for us. Sometimes when you update, there are several lines that are not included in the package. This kind of technical error, even though it's small, has to improve."
"There are some functionality limitations on UiPath that we could have access to on different platforms."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is no licensing fee for our customers."
"We would like to see improvement around the licensing and multitenancy."
"Currently our clients are looking for cost optimization post-pandemic and UiPath comes at a high price point."
"It is very costly to implement RPA. However, I think the benefits outweigh the costs over a long-term period."
"Blue Prism definitely has a simpler licensing structure, but I feel like that's almost a shot in the foot at certain points. It also gets kind of deceptive. There's a crossover point at which, if you're scaling up to a high number of bots, UiPath path definitely does come out cheaper. But the initial implementation has a higher cost."
"We are using the Community Edition. The cost is only that of the virtual machines. The pricing of the Enterprise Edition is a bit high."
"UiPath gives pretty good discounts."
"Annually, the product saves us 25,000 hours. Everyone is satisfied with that."
"Initially, the pricing was a lot more affordable. Now, it seems a bit excessive."
