Daily performance has boosted long coding sessions and reliable battery-supported work
Dell Business Laptops have excellent features that I appreciate from the two models I have used, both from the Inspiron line. One is the Inspiron 7573, which was a two-in-one foldable model. The other one is the Inspiron 15, the current one, the Inspiron 15 3530. I appreciate the first one because we can fold and use it as a tablet as well. Performance-wise, both have about 16GB RAM. Performance is the key thing for me because I am a software engineer, so the performance needs to be there. In addition to that, both Dell Business Laptops are touch-enabled. In that case, we are building some UWP applications as well, so that helps me to work on that. The AI-enhanced performance features in my Dell Business Laptops have influenced my productivity levels, particularly with the boot time. In the current one, it boots really fast. That is the main thing. If I sleep it, then it resumes working in very few seconds. That is one of the key things I appreciate about using my laptop. Also, with the enabled new Microsoft 365 Copilot, that helps me. The dependability of Dell Business Laptops, with daily use and daily wear and tear, shows they are durable. I am using it daily and it has enhanced the battery life as well. In old days, I think around two years of time, you have to replace the battery sometimes. But now, with the new versions, the feature has been enhanced as I remember. That automatically enabled when it is plugged in and is discharged automatically without charging the battery.

Multitasking workflows have become smoother and save significant development time
HP Business Laptops provide proper smoothness because going from one application to another is kind of easy and it is quite durable. Its battery life is what stands out the most for me. A heating issue is present a little, but battery life and smoothness is what stands out for me. I find the keyboard of HP Business Laptops a little easier to use. Initially, I used Lenovo ThinkPad where the control key and FN button placement confused me because ThinkPad is quite different, but HP Business Laptops has a very easy keyboard layout that feels normal. I did not face any issues. Previously, I used Lenovo ThinkPad that my organization gave me at the start, and I occasionally faced problems with the FN key. Generally, in all laptops, the control button is present in the bottom left corner, which would be easy, but the FN key placement on ThinkPad caused keyboard issues. The display quality is also really poor in ThinkPad. We switched to HP Business Laptops. Previously, we evaluated and used Lenovo ThinkPad. We then switched immediately to HP Business Laptops because ThinkPad was lagging quite a bit, applications stopped responding when we were trying to use them, and it was not scalable.

Reliable laptop performance has supported intensive model training and daily multitasking
When it comes to Lenovo Business Laptops, the heating issue is one thing that I would find concerning. When I'm in air conditioning, the air is really good and pretty chilly, but when I try to run the server or models, it takes up heat and cold gets balanced out. But when I'm at home and do not get access to proper air conditioning, the heating issue is a very important one because it heats up very fast. If we do not have a proper cooling system for it, I believe it might melt down. I fear that, but I have never faced that issue until now. The heating issue is one of the major factors that affects a product Lenovo Business Laptops. When I do not have access to my table and chair, I try to keep my laptop on my legs and the heating issue might affect my leg functionality. You would not want a hot substance to be on your legs. The heating issue is the only thing that kept it from becoming a 10.

Pros

"Again, the back-end support was a really huge reason why we stuck with Dell, as it was straightforward to get something fixed back when hardware wasn't as reliable as it is."
"Currently, I observe that most companies are using Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, which I find excellent, very handy, and lightweight."
"The biggest return on investment when using Dell Enterprise Laptops is the versatility and the ability to work from anywhere, which makes remote work much easier."
"The reason we are staying with Dell Enterprise Laptops is the support, as Dell just jumps on right away, helps you out, the technology never fails, and if you have ProSupport, they send you the part the same day, which is a big win for us because we're in healthcare and each minute counts."
"There have been so many improvements—speed, reliability, battery life; it gets better every year with the new release that they make."
"I would assess the stability and reliability of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops as excellent, as I have not personally experienced any crashes or performance issues and, in general, if there is an issue, we have a warranty with the laptops allowing us to get onto Dell support and have it fixed, often within a day thanks to our next business day warranty."
"Dell Enterprise Laptops are the main hardware that the people in the company work on, so it's mainly laptops, a few hundred workstations, and that is it—just work."
"Dell Enterprise Laptops have positively impacted my organization by making us much more productive, offering speed and reliability, and being less problematic than our older versions."
"I believe HP Business Laptops is one of the best laptops I have ever used, and as a developer, most coding-related tasks are very easy and I am able to do multiple tasks at a time while it handles heavy-duty performance very well and remains extremely durable."
"If I work 10 hours a day, running servers with Lenovo Business Laptops takes around 25 to 30 minutes, and as it does not lag while running the server, we save around one to two hours a day, easily."

Cons

"Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops can be improved with hardware recycling."
"The only improvement I would suggest for Dell Enterprise Laptops is to make a model that competes with the LG Gram."
"The only thing I would improve on Dell Business Laptops is that the casing is very easy to scratch, particularly on the Latitude ones and the Pros."
"Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops can be improved by considering that the price matters more these days."
"They can be improved by having fewer problems and requiring less support, as it would save money for external support."
"I would have preferred a lighter Dell Enterprise Laptops model, as it is somewhat thicker than our former one."
"Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops could be improved as the Windows drivers do not always work smoothly with Dell systems, requiring Dell driver updates to prevent slowdowns."
"The only issue I sometimes experience is battery problems, but other than that, they are quite stable."
"The licensing and setup costs of HP Business Laptops are slightly expensive and the laptop itself is on the costlier side because similar products in the market provide almost the same features at a little cheaper price."
"When it comes to Lenovo Business Laptops, the heating issue is one thing that I would find concerning."

"I bought a refurbished one from the Dell website in the States, and it was a good price at about $1,000."
