No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool
Forcepoint enables you to clarify aspects of your data, including which data to protect for how long, what priority to assign to the data and the destinations. It's a comprehensive, dedicated solution. The interface is user-friendly and easy to manage. No other product will give you the same visibility and data classification functions as this tool. You install the agent to your endpoint, and the end user needs to label the data as confidential, private, internal, etc. After you label the document, you can confirm the confidentiality and go to the DLP to make a new policy to block the specified destination addresses at the Forcepoint level, such as network, email, RDP, etc. Forcepoint uses machine learning and AI file or database fingerprinting. This can give you an early chance to prevent incidents fast. File fingerprinting gives you 100 percent accurate DLP results.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Has multiple modules and is good with integration."
"The fingerprinting technology is the solution's most valuable feature. It's unique to Forcepoint."
"With OCR and Risk Analysis, we are able to determine if anything sensitive is been shared. OCR helps us to safeguard those things and with risk ranking, we can determine which user is trying to violate policies multiple times even though they have been blocked to him or her."
"It has helped us meet CTI requirements. Some employees accidentally shared information and it was able to block that information. That is one of the biggest benefits we have seen from this tool."
"Forcepoint DLP's most valuable feature is that it provides complete end-to-end security."
"The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) functionality is another helpful feature, especially for unstructured data. Being able to discover sensitive data in an unstructured format is the most beneficial element of the solution."
"I did not experience any crashes. The solution has been stable in my usage."
"The product's configuration phase is easy."
"It is user- friendly and has a easy integration."

Cons

"The initial setup is a bit complex. You will need help from the peer support team in the configuration."
"One area that could be improved is the support. The current support is not very good. Because they don't come on time when a customer really needs it, they take a lot of time to troubleshoot anything."
"The post-optical character recognization feature could be improved because it only really works on documents with some length (at least three paragraphs)."
"The policy update size and agent size could be improved. We would also like to have a proper solution for Linux OS which Forcepoint does not offer."
"The main area of concern is the tool's technical support."
"I am not able to get support directly from Forcepoint."
"The deployment can be difficult."
"When you automatically try to upgrade the agent it causes problems."
"Improvement are made as per client requirement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing and licensing fees could be improved."
"The licensing of Forcepoint is quite straightforward. It's based on the number of users. The support fees are a separate cost."
"Its pricing is quite low considering the features they are offering. As compared to other solutions, it is reasonable. They do have professional support. If we need professional support, then there will be additional costs."
"The pricing is fine."
"There is an annual subscription model and the amount depends on the type of implementation."
"The pricing and licensing are okay."
"Forcepoint has been very cost-effective because they gave us a good deal while procuring the DLP solution."
"I can't comment on the cost, as a different department handles that."
