Integrating external keys seamlessly while has transaction constraints
I find DataLoader's ability to easily integrate with external keys valuable, which is a bit more challenging with DBM. It provides automation for scheduling data loads, and we use the server's functionality for this. Additionally, DataLoader is cost-effective since it is free. As long as I have stable network access, uploading and downloading data is straightforward.

Brings reporting, planning, and prediction together in one seamless workflow
I think the areas of SAP Analytics Cloud that could be improved or enhanced are mentioned by users or companies, and they would definitely mention the price in terms of planning licensing. From a consulting point of view, I don't see any major weaknesses. It is reasonably well-developed, and the perfect strength is that innovations are coming on a quarterly basis. It is slightly behind other tools in terms of the number of graphical outputs. Some tools have it faster, but every increment of innovations contains new features. On the other hand, it is perfectly fitting to the SAP environment, with seamless integration to all SAP modules, not only ERP but also SuccessFactors and other tools from the SAP family, for example, integrated business planning for the production planning. This is really a highlight compared to other tools.

Pros

"DataLoader is cost-effective since it is free."
"I find DataLoader's ability to easily integrate with external keys valuable, which is a bit more challenging with DBM."
"he product’s most valuable feature is ease of access."
"What I like best about this solution is that it is built into the SAP line, making it easier to integrate with other SAP products."
"In the data warehouse, you're free to make changes. You can make everything text, meaning it's always a string. Even numbers appear as text, giving you the flexibility to work with all columns."
"The product's most valuable features are reporting and planning, driverless planning, business vertical-wise planning, dashboarding, forecasting tools, and business forecasting."
"A robust solution."
"We mainly use Analytics Cloud because it integrates with other SAP solutions, as our ERP is an SAP product and our back-end is SAP Business Warehouse, so integration is an essential factor."
"The Smart Predict, Smart Insights, and Smart Discovery predictive analysis features are quite good."
"Using these connectors has significantly impacted our workflow and data integration with third-party tools."
"The solution is stable and reliable."

Cons

"Dataloader has limitations, including constraints with file sizes and transactions. Additionally, at times it can be slow, and when integrating DBM, we find it more complex than Dataloader."
"We need help with large data migrations. It only works well for a few thousand records or less than a million records."
"The product could improve by enhancing connectivity issues and speeding up response times for support queries."
"The search capability could be better, and SAP needs to come out with a clear roadmap for the solution going ahead, as they have not yet provided that."
"I would prefer to see it grow more efficiently, especially the AI helper tool."
"With the R Visualization, the coding is somewhat complex."
"There is no direct connector from SAP to Redshift, so we are required to use a third-party product that was recommended by SAP."
"There are significant hindrances in the reliability area of SAP Business Data Cloud related to connections. On one project, we created two to three connections for each module; however, when we moved from the development phase to the UAT or quality check phase, we found that our connections had expired, which meant redevelopment work, loss of time and money, and we also lost the trust of the customer."
"SAP Business Data Cloud can be improved by providing more use cases for intelligent applications."
"SAP Analytics cloud needs better exporting options."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is inexpensive and economical."
"SAP pricing tends to be premium, so it is slightly higher."
"The price is competitive. There is a power user license and normal user license, but the normal user license is reasonable."
"This solution offers value for money and you get what you pay for."
"The tool's pricing is medium, and licensing costs are yearly."
"It's not that costly as such for the time being."
"The premium option is very expensive at five thousand dollars. I use the nine hundred and ninety-nine dollar option."
"Compute and storage features should be sold separately."
"Its price is slightly on the higher side."
