GS
Simplifies customer journey management with extensive value for startups
Bigin by Zoho CRM offers a suite of applications customized for the Indian market. Its modules, such as tax and invoicing, integrate smoothly with sales modules, managing the customer journey from start to end. It is startup-friendly and helps reduce the cost per lead, offering great value for small and mid-sized companies.

Integration across functionalities has streamlined business operations and improved cost efficiency
Odoo's documentation needs improvement, as there are areas that are not well-documented. Additionally, some underlying technologies need refactoring to more modern structures. Although it's not immediately necessary since the system works, changes to the architecture would be beneficial. From the transition from version 17 to 18, it appears they are aware and have begun addressing some of these concerns.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I rate Bigin by Zoho CRM nine out of ten."
"We can add users and products to the workflows."
"All modules in Odoo are integrated together, providing seamless transitions across various functionalities."
"The most valuable feature of Odoo is its payroll localization."
"The most beneficial feature of Odoo is its wide community and store, allowing users to purchase solutions and resolve any problems quickly."
"The scalability is very good. There are over 100+ end users in our company."
"What I appreciate most about this solution is its ease of customization compared to other products. Odoo is straightforward and simpler to customize. Additionally, it offers stability by decentralizing the entire ERP with multiple products, making management and support more efficient. Moreover, the availability of talent in India is a key advantage, as the salaries for Odoo professionals are relatively lower than SAP or Oracle ERP professionals. This makes it easier for us to find suitable talent for projects seamlessly."
"I like the helpdesk module, and I like the simplicity of integration among their modules. All the modules are very well integrated, and you can move among the modules in an easy way."
"The solution is easy to use."
"We find manufacturing and stock quite useful, as well as the CRM to be the most valuable features."

Cons

"The user interface is too modular and fragmented, posing challenges. The UI could be much better by the year 2025."
"Zoho CRM needs to incorporate HRM."
"The customization and technical support are not great."
"The range of choices and functionalities has space for enhancement."
"There is a lack of resources for specialized Odoo professionals."
"Odoo’s asset management, supply chain, and advanced manufacturing should be improved."
"Odoo does not provide integration with other third-party apps like Shopify."
"The solution should improve its performance."
"Odoo's automation and workflow design tools could be better. It has some limitations compared to other ERP solutions like SAP. You should have the option to design workflows in order using BPM diagrams and tools that make it more versatile in terms of adapting to any workflow through low code."
"They could thoroughly study the market dynamics of different regions and connecting areas."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Its pricing is well-received in Latin America. They sell by the user. In October 2022, they changed the way they sell Odoo. They commercialized Odoo. They now sell by the user. The cost of a user is $13.5 five per month for Latin America, which is lower than other ERPs."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one means high price, and ten means low price, I rate Odoo's pricing a five or six out of ten."
"The price of the solution depends on the use case. However, it can be expensive and we are paying annually."
"Odoo is straightforward in terms of costs. You pay the vendor for both the software and implementation. We selected one of the twelve certified vendors for implementation in our local area, opting for the vendor named Four Zero Five."
"The pricing is quite affordable, especially when compared to other products, making it a cost-effective choice."
"I would rate this product on pricing as a six. If it is a SaaS solution, it is fixed. It is reasonably expensive."
"It is very affordable for any type of business. And this is one of the main advantages of Odoo. Small businesses can subscribe and this is a very good feature."
"I would rate the price as a one out of ten, with ten being the most expensive."
