High-performance backup with fast recovery and robust encryption features
I use Gluster as a backup. In fact, my company has a product called xBackup, which is completely based on Gluster. It includes various tools and technologies for high-performance backup, including solid-state technologies and mechanical disks, among others. Additionally, I use various other…

Backup has protected our office data and now restores individual emails while admins configure settings
Although Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is a Backup as a Service, it should give slight leverage to the admins to do more of their own configurations. When it comes to Software as a Service, we do need to agree on certain things, as we do not have much control over the software. If Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 can improve, it would be better. It could be slightly better, but it is acceptable. As long as support is provided in a timely manner, it is good. I cannot tell it is fully bad or fully good. If I were to give a rating of one to five, I might give 3.5 to four. Rather than giving a help database, which is an ocean of information to search through ourselves, we should be able to open a ticket and have them guide us on how to do it. As an end-user, different levels of admins exist—a fresh admin and a more experienced admin. They need to encourage us to open a ticket quickly, and from there they should guide us straightforwardly with the steps to follow to achieve the desired outcome.

Quotes from Members

"It is a stable solution."
"I find Veeam's customer service and support to be excellent, rating them ten out of ten."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the replication functionality."
"Veeam does not really have competition in the Office 365 Backup space, which made the decision a slam dunk for me because it was the one product that solved the issue and it works."
"The solution is stable and reliable."
"The ease of use is great and the integrations with the storage vendors are useful, with snapshot capabilities and similar features, and the setup was straightforward, making it a stable solution with great scalability."
"Veeam Backup gives you the option to backup your data from the cloud to on-premises."
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup an eight out of ten, with ten being easy."

Cons

"Improvement is needed in the graphical web administration tool."
"The virtual machine backup is an area with shortcomings that need improvement."
"I think the pricing model is wrong."
"They can provide a dashboard for sizing. This feature might get included in the next release."
"Currently, I'm working for Huawei and they dropped the support for Huawei, so that's an issue for us."
"The cost is a bit on the high side."
"The solution is costly."
"The solution could improve by having the ability to back up without an agent installed on the system."
"We have found that there is a limitation in this solution where it only takes the backup of users who are using Office 365 Enterprise email IDs. We have many users in management and approximately 50 other users who are using Office 365 of which Veeam is able to capture the backup. However, for the other users who are on the local email server at that time, the solution is not able to capture the backup."
"The solution could offer better reporting."
