Data Lake Storage provides valuable features such as access keys, container strings, lifecycle management, audit logs, and the soft delete option. These features help in cost-saving and provide an excellent mechanism for backing up data. Furthermore, Data Lake Storage can interact with any other Azure resources, providing seamless integration and connectivity.

Email collaboration and accessibility have improved team productivity
The valuable features include the email service, email updates, and Google Drive. People are given email access to Google Drive. The team can share manual files and work accordingly. They can access different teams from anywhere, collectively putting files, sharing them, and managing them. Additionally, the manufacturing product does not require any downgrades. It works fine and continuously for the last three or four years. Users can access their emails from anywhere in their browser without a laptop or can directly access from Gmail. This is helpful for salespeople.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Azure Data Lake Storage is user-friendly and easy to use."
"Data Lake Storage provides valuable features such as access keys, container strings, lifecycle management, audit logs, and the soft delete option."
"Offers high scalability for data storage"
"The response time and quality offered by the support team are good."
"The tool is very safe to use. It is impossible to hack the product."
"I also like its speed. It's basically built on Azure Blob Storage, which was already fast. But Azure Data Lake Storage adds the hierarchical structure for even better performance."
"It's a cloud-based tool within the Microsoft ecosystem, offering many benefits for data handling."
"Storage within Azure Data Lake is cheaper, which is one of the reasons we moved to it."
"Only a few competitors can do precisely what Google Workspace does in terms of email management and calendar management through its Gmail and Google Calendar apps. It's a very seamless platform."
"The document sharing in which multiple people can work on the same document. To go along with that is the archiving of documents. If you mess up a document, it's easy to go get a previous version."
"The initial setup is very easy."
"It's stable. There isn't really any downtime."
"The email is excellent."
"Google Workspace is an excellent tool for communicating with people, which allows users to collaborate and edit files simultaneously."
"What I like most about Google Workspace is the Google Drive app because you can easily access it from anywhere and from any device. I also find the solution easy to use. It's user-friendly."
"I have found the solution to be pretty stable."

Cons

"Pricing is always a factor. It could be more affordable."
"The speed of support response needs to improve, especially for critical, high-priority issues. Having a quick SLA response time is crucial."
"One improvement I'd suggest is the out-of-the-box conversion of input data, like spreadsheet or table data, to various formats. We'll be using Parquet, which enables transactional integrity."
"Azure Data Lake Storage should support other formats apart from the Data Lake format, such as the Iceberg format."
"It would be beneficial if some AI features were added."
"Simple migrations from one data lake to another take too much time and could be improved."
"If I had to nitpick, maybe the throughput could be faster - how quickly you can access data and how fast data can be written onto the Azure Data Lake Storage."
"If tools like Azure Data Lake Storage are enabled within the tool named Azure Storage Explorer, then it would be of tremendous help, but it can be really tricky."
"Everything is online, so you don't have a client on your desk. Working on email is online work, so can't do work offline and go back online. Sometimes it's not so intuitive. If you answer an email, it puts your answer at the bottom of the existing email."
"Google could integrate Gemini AI with Google Workspace to enhance user experience."
"Google Meet is a very good product, but it's not up to the mark if you compare it against other products like Zoom or Microsoft Teams."
"The price could be reduced."
"It would be nice to have additional software, such as Microsoft Teams, since our basic edition, Google Meet, cannot record video."
"There are 120 different products and Google is ready to copy their competitors and vice versa. Some of them work, and some of them don't. There are many newer tools with no-code environments which allow for a leaner self-owned system, where I'm not tied to paying hundreds and thousands of dollars a year to another company."
"The user interface, especially on Google Drive, could be better."
"The solution could improve the Google Cloud identity login to laptops that sometimes do not work. The collaboration for Google sites, they are not equivalent to others, such as Sharepoint."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool's licensing model is pay-as-you-go. Regarding pricing, there's always competition between Azure Data Lake Storage and AWS. They're quite similar, but to attract more customers, Azure Data Lake Storage could consider adjusting its pricing to be more competitive with AWS. This might make Azure Data Lake Storage a more appealing option for users."
"It's a pay-as-you-go model. Your charges are based on the amount of data you store."
"The tool is cheap, depending on the services and requirements you need."
"I rate the product price as two or three, where one is high, and ten is low. The product's price is really high."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a seven out of ten."
"Compared to other options we've explored, I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten, with ten being expensive."
"From one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the product price as five."
"It costs just a few dollars per terabyte per month."
"It's low in cost as compared to Office 365. There is an annual licensing cost."
"We have purchased an annual subscription."
"The main challenge regarding startups with identity services is you could be on a platform that works well but the services are expensive. For example, Microsoft Azure costs approximately $30 per user which is expensive. You end up choosing a different platform, such as G Suite Enterprise because it is priced reasonably and is less expensive than other solutions."
"We receive value for the price that we pay."
"The price per client within the business is too high."
"2,500 Rupees per month per user."
"G Suite and Microsoft Office 365 offer products with similar functionality at several different price points. Zoho offer a more extensive range of products and attempts to provide all the applications required to run most small and medium-sized businesses."
"There are several areas where a G Suite implementation can reduce costs: lower license fees than some competing products, reduced hardware, and IT support costs."
