Network monitoring has provided clear end-to-end visibility and has reduced troubleshooting time
Regarding the dashboard, it is not as customizable as I would like it to be, or at least as we would like it to be. I have experience with some other products, such as LogicMonitor. It has a very enhanced interface to make your own custom dashboards for exactly what you need. That is not possible within Auvik. It is more defined by them. I would consider dashboard customization flexibility a room for improvement in Auvik Network Management (ANM). I needed more server information from Auvik Network Management (ANM). I also discussed that with Auvik, and I think the best thing that they can do to enhance their product spread in the world is to make server management also possible with the product. Most importantly, Auvik Network Management (ANM) does not have server monitoring and server hardware monitoring, which LogicMonitor has, and these features make me continue to use LogicMonitor. We have approximately 70% of server monitoring that we do in our company because we still have a lot of on-premises servers running, and Auvik is not going to provide us enough to change to Auvik.

Real-time monitoring has improved incident detection and simplifies per-second troubleshooting
The key area for improvement is data retention and historical analysis. Netdata is excellent for real-time monitoring, but for long-term storage and deep historical insights, it usually needs to be integrated with other tools. Improving built-in long-term retention would make it more complete. Another area I see is data aggregation, where it correlates multiple nodes; while it provides great per-node visibility, having more advanced centralized views and correlations across systems would help in larger-scale environments. Customization of alerts and anomaly detection could also be enhanced. One area needing improvement is access control and security features. Stronger RBAC and user management would help control who can view data. Another area would be customization of dashboards, alerting integrations, and improving enterprise-level scalability features.
