Data workflows have accelerated and now optimize migration and cost management
The best feature Airbyte Cloud offers is data transformation. Airbyte Cloud has positively impacted our organization by being very helpful and speeding up our work environment. An example of how it has helped speed things up is that we have data here and there, which helps us to organize and speed up our migration. Data tasks help our workflow and organization because most of the things we do manually, so that helps organize.

Offers strong integration capabilities and reliable features but needs pricing and scaling improvements
Many things are evolving with the AI buzz in the market. What I would like to see improved or enhanced in webMethods.io in the future is that since webMethods.io is already under IBM, I think IBM will introduce and integrate AI into it. Additionally, regarding what webMethods.io can improve is the license cost. Other cloud players are also providing the same kind of functionality, such as AWS and Azure. webMethods.io is being installed on-premises, but AWS is providing it directly in the cloud. When comparing the license cost and request per minute cost, webMethods.io needs to address that. There are many competitors in the market for this.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Airbyte Cloud has positively impacted our organization by being very helpful and speeding up our work environment."
"Airbyte Cloud has positively impacted our organization because we were looking for multiple products and ended up choosing Airbyte because it is easy to use and set up."
"In the API gateway, there is a new feature that allows us to filter logs within a payload. This has been a useful feature."
"All of the components are very independent but are tied together to give the business value."
"It gives value for your money, and it is easy to implement and maintain."
"Most of the work in our organization can be more easily done using the tool."
"One of the most important features is that it gives you the possibility to do low-level integration, provides a lot of features out of the box, and over the years, it has matured so much that any problem that is there in the market can be solved with this product."
"By selecting Software AG and using multiple products, this saved us about 72 percent, which has definitely given us more agility."
"Application integrations are offered out-of-the-box, and that is extremely important to us. This is one of the main use cases that we have for it. It is about 60 to 70 percent of the workload in our application today."
"I would say the core Web-based integrations work the best. They are the most efficient and robust implementations one can do with webMethods."

Cons

"Airbyte Cloud can be improved because it looks good so far, but based on the AI coming, they have to catch up with AI agents."
"I think Airbyte Cloud can be improved by adding more connectors and more customizable connectors."
"webMethods.io needs to incorporate ChatGPT to enhance user experience. It can offer a customized user experience."
"webMethods Trading Networks is a bit costly compared to others solutions."
"It would be nice if they had a change management system offering. We built our own deployer application because the one built into webMethods couldn't enforce change management rules. Integration into a change management system, along with the version control system, would be a good offering; it's something that they're lacking."
"When migration happens from the one release to an upgraded release from Software AG, many of the existing services are deprecated and developers have to put in effort testing and redeveloping some of the services."
"We got the product via a reseller, and the support from the reseller has been less than desirable."
"I would like to have a dashboard where I can see all of the communication between components and the configuration."
"It is quite expensive."
"The product needs to be improved in a few ways. First, they need to stabilize the components of the whole platform across versions."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Pricing is the number-one downfall. It's too expensive. They could make more money by dropping the price in half and getting more customers. It's the best product there is, but it's too expensive."
"It is worth the cost."
"Initialy good pricing and good, if it comes to Enterprise license agreements."
"Always plan five years ahead and don’t jeopardize the quality of your project by dropping items from the bill of materials."
"webMethods Integration Server is expensive, and there's no fixed price on it because it has a point pricing model. You can negotiate, which makes it interesting."
"Most of my clients would like the price of the solution to be reduced."
"This is an expensive product and we may replace it with something more reasonably priced."
"There are no hidden costs in addition to the standard licensing fees for webMethods. For corporate organizations, it's a very cheap or fairly priced product, but for growing or small businesses, it's quite expensive. These businesses would probably need to consider an enterprise services bus at some point. Thus, from a pricing point, it closes out non-cooperate businesses."
