Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The advantage was that ADP Streamline was inherently designed to serve as a marketing engine for the company.""The most valuable feature was that everything was in one system.""I like the reporting feature as it allows me to generate reports independently without relying on a payroll consultant.""They are very strong in terms of having a central regional system. A regional person can see and monitor the calendar for each different country."

"When correctly configured, this is a very stable solution. We have customers running their process automation manufacturing based off of this solution.""EBS has lots of application families and lots of features. It is modular in deployment and flexible enough to let the customer increase the built-in capabilities and enable new applications when needed. These are very important things at hand in case there will be a need to expand the product capabilities and/or implement new projects.""Their great technical support is one of the most valuable features.""It makes financial operations easier to perform.""The system is reliable and the backbone of financial and other core systems in many organizations worldwide.""An integrated platform with an easy of integration to a third-party system.""It was very easy to integrate the product into our existing infrastructure.""Very flexible in terms of configurations and it's capable of integrations."

Cons
"The UI could be improved to be a bit more modern or trendy because it looks old-fashioned compared to other systems.""I think there is a need for a deeper level of comprehension.""They could improve the service relationship manager (SRM), because they have an SRM which is not familiar with Simple.""Having more clear guidance on design and training would be beneficial."

"Movement to the cloud should be supported. Product support still needs to be improved.""The UI interface is not great.""The user interface could be better. It's not good because they made their interface all in one, and my customers don't want to use it. I have to customize the interface and personalize it to hide some fields on the screen. It has lots of information on the screen, and the user can't easily navigate it. It's very difficult to use. I think that Oracle should have something like best practices. They need to provide some patches to simplify the interface based on the industry niche. Because now we see everything on the same screen, but the users don't need all that information. It's complicated to use for end-users, and we have to spend more time training them. In the next release, I think they should implement most of the features in the mobile app. It should be better. Oracle didn't update their mobile application for a very long time. Connecting the mobile application is complicated.""The user interface is not completely a web interface, it uses a lot of traffic which costs too much for a large number of users scattered throughout the country as they connect from their terminals to do their tasks.""Needs more real-time visualizations, in terms of smarter dashboards and reporting competing with the speed of HANA.""The reporting needs to be improved.""Not user friendly.""Oracle E-Business Suite's stability could be improved as they have a lot of bugs that need to be fixed."

    Reviews from Real Users:

Kopano R., Freelancer at a tech services company, says, “What I found most valuable in Oracle E-Business Suite is the patching because it is straightforward. As long as you follow Oracle's best practices, you are able to finish the task of patching without a problem. I like that it's also easy to add products, e.g. if you want to add on financials, you can, or if you don't have financials, you can expand on that. I like that Oracle E-Business Suite is really scalable.”

Mohammed G., Senior Oracle Application Consultant at a comms service provider, writes, “Oracle E-Business Suite consists of a lot of streams, such as financial and HR processes of the enterprise companies. We are using most of the Oracle financial modules, and we have an Oracle stream, FI procurement stream, and HR streams, which have a lot of applications. Oracle E-Business Suite has over 20 different modules to choose from, it is comprehensive. Additionally, the integration is very good. “
