Its flexibility and customization ability. Ease of initial setup and complete set of features to support digital marketing initiatives.
Start small and plan your first set of objectives clearly, leaving all the “nice-to-haves” for a later phase. Starting this way will help companies get a sample of the benefits, and get familiar with the tool in general. After the first phase, they may find things that they thought they wanted are not really required or can be achieved in a better, more efficient way in the AEM world. Another useful suggestion is to avoid trying to recreate your current solution using AEM; rather, try to look for new and different ways to achieve the same results that take advantage of AEM’s features.

The area of improvement with OpenText 360 for SharePoint is that sometimes there are unexpected service outages. Though these situations are rare, I want to highlight that in case of any outage in the services, because everything is located in SharePoint, there is a chance that reports start failing or dashboards fail, or the system behaves differently. In future updates, I would want to see widgets available in OpenText 360 for SharePoint to interact with third-party tools. For example, when creating a dashboard, having the ability to embed these directly into SharePoint would be beneficial. Currently, I have to use hyperlinks to access other tools such as Tableau or ClickView. If it were possible to merge everything and bring all information from multiple teams (Cognos, ClickView, AWS) into SharePoint as a centralized place, it would be really helpful. That is what I envision for the integrator part.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"LiveCycle has a good user interface and has developed an easy way to create fillable .pdf forms."
"All these features help companies create powerful web applications that can then be customized and maintained by marketers with little involvement from IT."
"OpenText 360 for SharePoint integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, allowing me to monitor and manage projects and task issues using mobile devices."
"The product has a strong and easy integration with Teams."
"In terms of its most valuable features, this solution, in general, will provide all you need and it's very convenient to use. We can share our details to collaborative platforms. We can give access to users. It's pretty flexible."
"OpenText 360's best features are platform independence and its performance when searching large numbers of documents."
"The fact that you can see and create something that fits your business is the most valuable thing in this platform, as it is a customizable product that fits your needs."
"This solution has good connection and we do not need to migrate everything in order to protect the repository."
"The overall benefit I get from using this solution is developing in a more secure environment with distributed architecture and even distribution of work across resources where full control on the code and repository is required."
"Overall, I would rate OpenText 360 for SharePoint as ten."

Cons

"We have found occasional issues with stability but those were, in general, caused either by custom developed code or issues in the implemented architecture."
"Help menu is a bit difficult to navigate."
"To be honest, my experience with OpenText is that usually, they are not doing too much on quality assurance with their product."

"An area for improvement would be how the platform handles large volumes of documents. It also doesn't provide a very good, robust backup and restore capacity. In the next release, I would like the search technology to be improved."
"We have a very good time to market tool, and the development platform should be made user-friendly. Mostly, it's just support."
"Its licensing needs to be simplified. Currently, its licensing is very complex. It contains a number of pieces, and you have to be an expert in reading all the conditions in the license. They should simplify the licensing and make it easier to understand. It would make a customer's life easier."
