Managing Partner and AEM Architect at a tech vendor with 51-200 employees
Its flexibility and customization ability. Ease of initial setup and complete set of features to support digital marketing initiatives.
Start small and plan your first set of objectives clearly, leaving all the “nice-to-haves” for a later phase. Starting this way will help companies get a sample of the benefits, and get familiar with the tool in general. After the first phase, they may find things that they thought they wanted are not really required or can be achieved in a better, more efficient way in the AEM world. Another useful suggestion is to avoid trying to recreate your current solution using AEM; rather, try to look for new and different ways to achieve the same results that take advantage of AEM’s features.

Based on current market trends, Quadient has ticked all the boxes. For the next release, I would like to see more features in the Evolve Cloud offering. The Evolve Platform will be a game changer for Quadient as it will attract more enterprise customers who want to move their CCM platform to the cloud. The other CCM platform has its offering in the cloud, but it has some limited use cases.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"LiveCycle has a good user interface and has developed an easy way to create fillable .pdf forms."
"All these features help companies create powerful web applications that can then be customized and maintained by marketers with little involvement from IT."
"The user-friendly way that workflows in Quadient Inspire can be composed and organized goes a long way towards minimizing the time spent creating complex tasks, thus creating more available programming time/capacity for new jobs. While original scripting knowledge is preferential to using the tool effectively, the modular structure and GUI interface makes it much easier to grasp than otherwise might have been the case."
"It’s easier to maintain and edit communication, and it error-proofs our regulatory responsibility."
"This solution does everything we need, plus so much more."
"The Inspire single solution was by far a better option."
"Quadient Inspire has improved our efficiency all round in the data processing department; we have been able to take on jobs that we couldn't do before the implementation of Quadient Inspire and it has sped up the processing of data in an unbelievable fashion."
"There's good flexibility in terms of integrating with other ecosystems."
"In the past, we used other VDPs and we moved to Inspire Designer due to its ease of use, flexibility, and processing speed."
"The most valuable feature we have found is the speed to produce files and the number of files that can be sent at one time."

Cons

"Help menu is a bit difficult to navigate."
"We have found occasional issues with stability but those were, in general, caused either by custom developed code or issues in the implemented architecture."
"The licensing and setup costs historically have been a roadblock, but there have been improvements on this over the years as things move into the cloud."
"Imposition would be the area that we would like to see improved."
"The de-bug/help system is quite ambiguous at times and only works if you know where to look, but I find that its search facility is perhaps not as extensive as it might be and often returns fairly random results unless the search terms used are very specific."
"One improvement would be to make the training modules or university free for users, as not all companies will pay for their employees to do the training and get the certificates."
"They could add more functionality in near future in Inspire Interactive."
"We'd like to be able to see page breaks when we proof the blocks."
"I feel the scripting modules are very powerful but are difficult to use if you do not have the programming knowledge."
"What can be improved are the new additions to the solution."
