Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance could improve areas related to the management of updates, especially concerning new operating systems like Windows 11 and the deployment of applications, particularly Microsoft Office. The lack of images for system deployments is challenging, particularly with the significant number of servers involved in the deployment process. We are still determining whether to transition to Windows 11 due to uncertainty about its quality. However, adaptation will likely become necessary within the next one or two years. Thus, we are exploring Microsoft Intune as a potential substitute for Quest KACE for better license management, asset management, and its impact on the license cycle for agents in the management system. They could enable new methodologies for Microsoft deployment. Also, there could be an MDM feature to manage smartphones and mobile devices.

The categories and the command section do not reflect the users and the permanent users porting commands on updating.
