Designed and deployed a Python Flask web application using Docker and Kubernetes. The project focused on containerizing the application, managing deployments, enabling scalability, exposing services, and ensuring high availability using Kubernetes. A CI/CD pipeline was also implemented to automate the build and deployment process.
If I were to do this project again, I would focus more on automation and standardization. During the initial deployment, many tasks such as DNS configuration, HAProxy setup, VM provisioning, and cluster configuration were performed manually. I would automate these using Ansible and Terraform to reduce deployment time and minimize human errors.
