Huawei is NOT an approved vender nor is it recommended for use in a security environment due to its ties with the Chinese government and issues with network security. I do not recommend their products in any context.

Cisco is still the benchmark for firewalls although Palo Alto and Checkpoint both provide excellent equipment. Model selection is dependant on anticipated bandwidth and utilization selection solely on user count is an ineffective way to select a firewall.

I personally use Cisco Exclusively because that is what I know. Palo Alto firewalls are also very good. Those are the two biggest players right now from my research and knowledge. Performance-wise the are clearly direct competitors and one may fair better in one feature and…
