Answered a question: How does Jaspersoft compare to Tableau?
Jaspersoft is for Production Reporting and Embedded Analytics used for creating single or multi page pixel perfect reporting , Tableau more for Data Discovery and Dashboarding.

Diego, thats not correct. Jaspersoft has the OLAP Schema workbench tool
which allows you to visually create and test Mondrian OLAP cube schemas

Jaspersoft does have a ETL tool called Jaspersoft-ETL which is an OEM of the Talend BI tool. Having this as part of the JS toolset enabled a better overall solution than Pentaho. The Pentaho ETL seems like an ETL lite, a little more intuitive but nowhere near as functional…

Having worked in Education, Defence and Telecoms as a Software Development Consultant over the past 21 years, I have an excellent overview of what constitutes good practise in the software industry. I have gained full software life-cycle experience working with software requirements management right through to customer site software integration and support contracts.
