Commented on Setup isn't complex compared to other solutions. Scalability is good as well.

Some inaccuracies here, I don't think setup is simple if you want to use advanced features, resilience has been there since the origins of the product, stability is better in version 11.3 than 11.0 but not as good as 4.5

Don't use the 11.3.5 web interface (WCC) go to 11.4 directly (backwards compatible with your 11.3.5 scheduler) or upgrade the scheduler and use 11.4

Re. your "lights out" point, use the notification feature to sent exceptions to an event management framework (CA-SOI, Netcool, TESM OpsDirector etc.)

A somewhat surprising review CA WAAE will easily scale up to 50,000 jobs a day per single instance and more if the jobs starts are relatively evenly distributed in time. The vendor claim and a quarter of a million with the recent service pack3 improvements (not verified)…
