Gustavo began working with Oracle in the late 1990’s as a Business Systems Analyst for Nike Argentina when he helped the company rollout Oracle Financials 10.7.
He worked as a Sr Systems Engineer for Nike USA’s Global IT group, where supported the BI tools that Nike’s America’s Sales division depended upon. During this time, Gustavo also took on lead roles in Oracle implementations in Brazil and South Africa.
In 2003 Gustavo returned to Argentina, working as a Sr. Consultant for Oracle Argentina delivering Order to Cash solutions to a diverse range of clients encompassing everything from Oil and Gas companies to cable TV providers.
He worked as Danone Argentina’s ERP Project Manager where he managed a number of Oracle ERP initiatives covering the company’s Shared Service Center operations in both Argentina and Uruguay.
Since 2006 Gustavo has served as IT Convergence’s Global IT Director. In that capacity he has serviced the company’s global shared services center located in Buenos Argentina. IT Convergence has implemented Oracle HRMS, Oracle Telesales, Oracle Service, Noetix, and OBIEE globally. In 2008 Gustavo also led IT Convergence’s upgrade Oracle R12, making ITC one of the first companies in Latin America to use R12.
In 2012, Gustavo was named as CTO, and started to lead two major initiatives at IT Convergence. As a program manager of the Oracle R12.2 beta program, was the first company worldwide joining the efforts with Oracle Development to test an upgrade of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.
As Program Manager of the Fusion Applications implementation for Human Capital Management and Financials, positioned IT Convergence as the first company in Latin America on this business software.
He was distinguee as Oracle ACE Director in November 2012 for his strong credentials as Oracle community enthusiast and advocate.
Gustavo is co-author of the book “Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Handbook, Third Edition” published by McGraw-Hill and Oracle Press.
