I think the area for improvement in BMC AMI Data is the user interface. It feels somewhat dated and operational heavy. A modern and very intuitive design would make it easier for the users to get started. I would prefer better dashboard customization and visualization, along with easier integration with the modern database DevOps tools and hybrid environments. There should be more detailed documentation around, and stronger end-to-end visibility across the business transactions would also make the solution more useful.
I would like BMC AMI Data to have a modern user interface. We require a modern UI and easier dashboard optimization. Right now we have a good UI, but better integration with modern databases and DevOps tools is needed.Overall support for BMC AMI Data is very good. Documentation still can be better.
I have had a good experience but there are a few improvements. The user interface feels a bit outdated compared to modern monitoring tools. A more customizable dashboard would make it easier to navigate and find key metrics. I also think the initial setup and configuration could be simplified, especially for terms that are new to the product. Another area for improvement is that while the data is comprehensive, creating custom reports sometimes requires extra effort.
I think there is nothing to be improved in BMC AMI Data, but I believe from the customer service point of view, it should be more convenient rather than mailing and waiting for twenty-four hours to get a response. If they had telephonic support, it would be much more helpful for us. I do not want to add more about the needed improvements.

BMC AMI Data monitors technical components very well, but end-to-end business transaction tracing is still limited. For instance, the flow of business transactions from order creation to generation of the ASN is limited. I would say it would be great if cross-system business flow visibility were improved. Moreover, I would say stronger AI root cause accuracy is needed. Current AI capabilities are useful but still heavily rule-based in many environments. I would also suggest having a somewhat easier UI for better user experience, as it remains operational heavy, menu-driven, and less intuitive for new engineers. Cleaner dashboards, drill-down visualizations, interactive topology maps, and easier search or filtering would be beneficial. Additionally, better cloud and hybrid visibility along with native event-driven monitoring would improve the solution. I feel there are still some features that need improvement. Particularly, business cross-functional visibility and cross-systems visibility need enhancement.
