I think Apptio Costing could be improved, particularly the user interface. The UI should be more user-friendly and intuitive, as drilling down into budget line items in planning takes time and multiple clicks. I think there is room for improvement in Apptio Costing with creating custom report views.
One area where Apptio Costing can be improved is in the data link, which has been a limitation for my organization when integrating with other applications such as Snowflake or ERP. In terms of needed improvements, I would appreciate the ability to schedule change moves from development to stage. In some instances, we have users that are able to access our stage environment and have changes visible before it becomes a change management challenge.
When Apptio Costing releases new functionalities, sometimes it comes with bugs, which is how it can be improved. I would like to see an improvement in the integration of the different Apptio modules, as those bugs affect my work.
I would access more of our plans in Apptio Costing, as I have to archive or purge prior monthly plans to keep the system running faster for our users.
