My main use case for Replit is to develop the Resonance Companion, a full-stack, language-aware conversational AI application, and it is not designed as a generic chatbot. Its React front end connects to the Node.js and Express back end that processes each message through application-specific language and resonance analysis before generating a response. It also retrieves relevant materials from an established archive so that previous records can inform the conversation without new messages being silently treated as permanent shared memory. Replit gives me the cloud workspace in which I can develop, run, and inspect the front end, back end, and supporting application logic together.
