During my internship at a company providing automation tools and database platforms for Eicher automobiles, I worked on a project integrating Bosch Automotive Data Transformer for automation and testing. Eicher automobiles is an Indian manufacturer of tractors, trucks, cars, and motorbikes. The project involved using Bosch Automotive Data Transformer to capture vehicle details and monitor vehicle status. Several parts were covered by Bosch Automotive Data Transformer during my internship period, including radar, GPS, steering angle, vehicle wheel alignment, and RPM.
Bosch Automotive Data Transformer serves as a connected data transformation connectivity platform, primarily used for AI agents connectivity, BI analytics for data visualization, and workflow automations with embedded connectivities. In one of our projects, we utilized Bosch Automotive Data Transformer for data visualization and BI analytics, especially with its real-time dashboard, tabular Power BI, and Excel by querying live data from CRM and ERP without any extraction. Additionally, we provided a logical data layer to reduce data movement and warehouse costs.
