What are the upgrade challenges, risks and testing needed that I should be aware of?

I’m IT Manager managing Vblock 300GX at Primary and DR Site with RCM 2.5.9. I’m planning for RCM upgrade to 4.0.11 through VCE professional Services.

Since I have SRA, RPA cluster and SRM 5.0 for Data protection/replication. I would like to know about RCM Upgrade challenges, Risks and Testing.

Test scripts and best practices to follow during RCM Upgrade.

While I have experience with the components themselves it has been a
while since I stopped using them and I never did an upgrade.

However, since he has decided to use VCE services, there is no reason to
lose sleep over this. They are very competent people.
