It is very good. If you already have a small project, you can use it. On the internet, such as on YouTube, there are a lot of short tutorials. You can just follow a tutorial step by step, and then you would get acquainted with AWS Amplify. That's the best way. I would rate AWS Amplify an eight out of ten. It is still in the early phases, but I see a lot of potential in it.
