| Application architect at a manufacturing company with 10,001+ employees | 3.0 | I've used this solution for 24 years for product collaboration, PPM, and PQM. However, it's not scalable for large data, lacks complex workflow support, and has stability issues, prompting our move to a new PLM. |
| Sr. Tech Systems Architect at Intuitive | 4.0 | I use Oracle Agile PLM to manage product lifecycles and collaborate across various teams efficiently. It offers high availability and performance features, but disaster recovery and proactive monitoring need improvement. Overall, the ROI is very good. |

It's not scalable. It can't support BOM management if we have thousands of parts. That's one of the biggest limitations. Relationship management should support large data.
The workflow engine also needs improvement. It should support complex workflows. There are things with patch management that should be better.
There are hundreds of other things that we logged with them but never got implemented.
The cloud version isn't very powerful, so it doesn't support parallel workflow. It just supports the serial flow.
The stability and technical support could also be improved.
I have been using this solution for about 24 years.
There are some on-and-off issues because we're using the older version. It's a locked version. It hasn't been opened for some time to find out exactly what the issue is. Stability-wise, I wouldn't rate it too high – maybe six out of ten.
It's not scalable.
I would rate technical support 3.5 out of 5. There's room for improvement. Oracle has moved their focus to the cloud version.
Initial setup wasn't bad. We didn't have any issues with it.
We had a big team, but we're moving it to cloud, so we have scaled down the team to just two. We have two technicians, a project manager, and five admins.
Considering the number of users, it's a small team. We have eight to ten people at one point, but we scaled it down to focus our energies on a new PLM. We're using a consulting firm for that.
The licensing policy isn't good. We had trouble with it. That's why we're looking at a new cloud-based solution.
We chose Siemens TeamCenter for the cloud version. We also had the PLM cloud version. We explored a few other solutions.
I would rate this solution six out of ten.

Oracle Agile PLM has many features and here I am listing few that are very useful for us.
The Oracle Agile PLM disaster recovery solution is complex, and there is a lot of manual work involved when switching to the DR site. I would expect better for the DR solution in future releases.
It also needs improvement in application proactive monitoring and health check-up.
I have been using the solution for eight years.
In terms of the stability of this solution, I am impressed with the product especially with latest version.
The scalability is good.
The service and support need improvement.
