Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The drag-and-drop functionality in Signavio is impressive and user-friendly, allowing easy connection to other elements without the need for excessive back-and-forth.""I like the collaboration and the real-time aspects of it.""It's easy and fast. It's very quick to work with process teams in terms of improving processes. You just have to send them a URL and to have a process in front of them. I don't use all of the possibilities we have in Signavio. This has made it easier for people to adopt, because when we scrambled the process team together and started a process of improvement, it improved their process. They are much more involved than they had been earlier, and they can also use Signavio to make smaller improvements in the process for themselves. There are many more interactions between the process teams and Signavio than in our previous solution, where you had to hire in a professional process modeler. It's been a great improvement.""The collaboration hub, which helps us in terms of being able to communicate with our customers, brings everybody into the tool and close to the process, allowing them to comment and to implement their own processes.""In my opinion, the most valuable feature is the editor and its ease of use, and when people are looking at it, they can make comments about changes that need to be made.""This is one of the best solutions and it is easy to implement.""Version management is helpful because I like to try different versions and then decide which of them should be the main model.""The collaboration function in the project views is valuable because people can comment on the processes and we can respond."

Cons
"There are some small graphical bugs, but they are addressed immediately by Signavio to their product development team.""If you're going to use the tool the way I'm using it, which is to work with businesses and capture what they're thinking, it would be helpful to be able to insert other objects onto a diagram.""Moreover, the functionality to show different process variations with "views" could be improved to allow more customization of these views. I believe this would increase the user experience and administrative efforts maintaining these process variations.""The workflow automation of the solution is an area of concern where improvements are required.""It is difficult to quickly digest the vast power of the suite and make use of those capabilities fully.""I think the intuitive handling is an issue which they should be more focused on, especially as we have issues with the glossary. If you want to implement Signavio within procedures in contact with other software, it's quite difficult to integrate and you will have several points where you have to double and triple the work, because you cannot maintain the data centrally. With other solutions, we can integrate it and have only one data transfer, to import and export with other solutions. A glossary is still limiting us.""It could use a better user interface, one that is more efficient.""There is always room for improvement is the capability of integration with other solutions."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Lower than the competition with highly flexible licensing plans."
  • "My client purchased one editor license and the collaboration hub, which covers up to a hundred people."
  • "I think that the price of the licenses is between $2,000 USD and $3,000 USD per license per year, plus the hub usage. I cannot remember the exact cost, but it is affordable."
  • "I think we're spending about $150,000 a year on licensing costs."
  • "SaaS has no setup cost, just licensing fees."
  • "This solution provides really great value for the money."
  • "We are only able to use the free academic licenses because we have a financial constraint. We are not able to pay for commercial licenses to use this kind of tool."
  • "Although Signavio is a feature-rich solution, it is expensive for companies who haven’t reached a certain maturity level in their process management initiatives."
