Certified middleware has streamlined safety-critical ADAS development and supports future projects
I would say for the performance cores, QNX Neutrino offers enhanced security features compared to functional safety and security features when compared to any Linux alternatives. We use our products for ADAS and automated driving, which are ASIL B to ASIL D level safety-critical applications, and QNX Neutrino helps us by providing certified middleware stacks so we don't have to do extensive testing on it, allowing us to focus only on the functions and algorithms. Using any open-source Linux would cause a lot of effort for us to test the overall software, so QNX Neutrino actually helps us reduce our effort and focus our software testing only on the functions and algorithms. It also offers virtual ECU type environments for a lot of testing even before integrating the whole software onto the actual hardware, thus saving us a lot of time later.

Daily work has become smoother and organized as I manage calls, notes, and files efficiently
The best features that Windows 11 offers in my opinion are Notepad++ and the integration, as I could use Microsoft 365 on it and I could also run many applications. If I want to use Linux, then I could use Windows Subsystem for Linux as well. Most of the industry-wide applications are easily installable on Windows 11 and user-friendly as well. Windows 11 has definitely impacted my organization positively because you could see that all the day-to-day activities, most of our professionals would use a Windows system itself. In terms of productivity, Windows 11 has made a positive difference as we use a mail inbox with its links and Microsoft Teams, which is available. Windows 11 is natively installable and very friendly with the compatible operating system, and alongside, we have other applications that are available. Edge browser, which is the default browser for Windows 11, is also a good browser and a very decent option. Additionally, we have other features available for the day-to-day activities. You can see it gives you a basic calendar, calculator, and camera options, and you have the File Explorer. You get a pretty decent operating system for a layman to work on a day-to-day basis. While there are certain tasks that consume a certain amount of time, Windows 11 reduces the time. The usability and architecture, how it is built, makes a user get into a state where they don't need to spend excessive effort on the task to be done. You can get everything through a UI-based interface, and everything is sorted and very simple. Over the period of time, the operating system evolution by Microsoft is good for the individual workspace.

Pros

"We use our products for ADAS and automated driving, which are ASIL B to ASIL D level safety-critical applications, and QNX Neutrino helps us by providing certified middleware stacks so we don't have to do extensive testing on it, allowing us to focus only on the functions and algorithms."
"QNX Neutrino has positively impacted my organization because it was chosen as the main operating system for the products, at least for the graphical interface communication and for the application layer management."
"The tool is very stable and I don't recall a time the screen went blue which was common for Windows 7. The product's installation is fast. If I have any issue that prevents me from booting Windows 11, it will automatically run into auto-repair mode and fix those issues. Windows 10 had this functionality but it wasn't good."
"We are migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 due to end-of-life, security concerns, and end-of-support. The tool's configuration is good and we are satisfied with it since it's a Microsoft product. We didn't face any hurdles in using the tool. We didn't feel much difference with both Windows products. The solution is good because in IT we want to secure our data. Nowadays, data is the most valuable thing. If your data is secured, then you are secured. I think that everyone has to move to Windows 11 since Windows 10 is facing end-of-life and end-of-sales, probably by 2024."
"The tool is user-friendly. It is easy to use, and we have many applications like Excel and Word where we can do spreadsheet work."
"Windows 11 has a good user interface."
"The graphics of Windows 11 are awesome."
"Windows 11 has a very straightforward initial setup."
"The solution's most valuable features are overall desktop and fast booting."

Cons

"One area where Windows 11 can be improved is the Copilot that has been added."
"The solution's installation process could be less time-consuming."
"Notifications on the iPad sometimes get missed. I was using Slack, and notifications just stopped working, so I then restarted my PC, and after that, they started working."
"My problem with Windows 11 stems from the fact that I have to update it every other day."
"I choose 7 out of 10 because there are many advertisements and telemetry issues that persist even if you have a Pro tier of Windows 11."
"The solution’s pricing could be improved."
"The driver updates for the solution could be better."
