Easy To Use with a very Good capabilities in monitoring the URLS and APIs

The Reports and dashboard in the solution are areas that need improvement. dashboarding has some limitations,when we're trying to create a performance dashboard on the OBM. we can't Export our reports on PDF or HTML Format , you have to access the Reports Directly from the SiteScope I think Reports and dashboards are area for improvements on the SiteScope. Also there is no Web UI for accessing and managing the SiteScope , you have to use the SiteScope Local Client . We have installed two SiteScope servers for managing 2 different sites ,it will be perfect if it has one management UI. I consider the Agentless technique is a Pros and corns in the same time as we have to open a lot of ports such like WMi , snmp and ping on all Monitored servers.

Easy creation of custom fields, no need to alter applications; supports ten active logging applications simultaneously and faster than aster than default search tools

Alerting and consistency are key. We have different tiers with log collectors, and continuous querying provides near-real-time updates. It's almost like instantly when something happens, like pending transactions or error fees. This helps reduce incident resolution time compared to waiting for thresholds on other platforms. We can continue logging in with them seamlessly and quickly get into action. Another valuable feature is easy custom field creation in Sumo Logic. For example, recently, we had Sumo collect all our container tier load data. Containers can be expensive with heavy logging, so we only wanted important information there. We easily created custom fields without changing our applications because Sumo supported, I think, ten active logging applications at the time. These are heavy applications. Rerouting everything for that field change would have been difficult. So, configuring Sumo Logic, adding a new field, and having applications update that specific field was convenient. Sumo Logic automatically identified different logic categories for us.

This often leads to additional challenges and complexities. From my perspective, when compared to Microsoft Sentinel or even Splunk, Sumo Logic Observability has a steeper learning curve. One contributing factor to this disparity is the solution's long existence in the market compared to Synlogic. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that there are capable and knowledgeable professionals employed at Sumo Logic Observability. The effectiveness of the solution largely depends on how it is integrated into your internal operations and environment. Its utility and benefits can vary significantly. It is worth noting that organizations like the NSA and, I believe, the CIA used it in the past, primarily for rapidly searching and analyzing large volumes of data. To leverage its capabilities effectively, you must determine how to tailor it to your specific needs."

I could manage them from a single location."

Flexibility with configuration: By adding or deleting specific monitors, you can adapt to dynamic changes in data center configuration.

Templates for solutions: The template database is based on best practices for monitoring complex application settings with the least amount of time and effort. The templates include built-in domain experience of specialized monitors, default metrics and thresholds, proactive testing, and best practices for a given application or monitoring component.

Notifications, alerts, and reports: Email, SNMP traps, HTTP post, and database alerts are all supported. Administrators receive alerts based on defined thresholds and schedules.

Flexibility in user management: Using LDAP or an internal management solution, define group-level permissions, construct user roles, and assign security groups depending on role. Extensive WS (Web Service)-based API that automates numerous management situations without the need for the SiteScope UI.
