Improved security and streamlined cloud deployments have reduced maintenance and simplified troubleshooting
The Visual Studio ID that we are using requires more RAM and IP. Sometimes it goes high on this phone exchange, and it crashes sometimes. We have to review this with Microsoft itself. That is something we do not understand. The breakage goes up, and I think it was the process that decreased, but still partitions are there somehow in Cloudera Selami. We do not even understand what the issue is. I think six more RAM would help.

Good stability and good visibility but requires a better user interface
We're an SAP partner. We do also deploy some clients to the cloud, but 95% of the work we do with the solution is on-premises. I'd rate the solution six out of ten. I'm an architect, so I don't know enough about the implementation side to really be able to share any relevant first-hand experience in regards to setting the solution up.

Pros

"The product is evolving, based on the day-to-day needs of our customers and we are making sure to include maximum functionality to support their businesses."
"The .NET Framework is a very good framework. It does what I need it to do."
"Microsoft Platform is the only viable solution when I wish to do something that is not supposed to be cross-platform."
"The most valuable thing about Microsoft .NET Framework is that it is an enterprise-grade language and platform."
"Microsoft is better in backward compatibility compared to others."
"My advice is that C# is a very rich language with lots of advanced facilities, which makes it easier to develop by not being too complex."
"The solution has assisted our organization in the full-stack development process. The tool can be deployed on all types of devices, including mobiles and desktops. The MAUI capabilities of the solution have been the most beneficial feature for our organization's development needs."
"Whenever someone needs a very good back-end system or a strong system, they should go with C# .NET technologies."
"There are many features of the solution that are quite useful. For us, the most valuable aspect may be visibility."

Cons

"This solution is best used with some training."
"The integration with DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and GitLab, would be a valuable addition."
"There may be some topics regarding connectivity and management of certificates that require attention. We are currently facing some issues."
"We have issues with websites that are based on Angular, but the rest of the applications or websites are stable so far."
"They could enhance support for Python within Visual Studio, as integrating Microsoft products with other frameworks can present a steep learning curve."

"The product could have a better framework for application development."
"The integration capability of the product with AI is an area with certain shortcomings, where improvements are required."
"The solution could improve its user interface."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the solution's pricing a two out of ten because .NET is an open-source framework. You don't have to pay for a license."
"The support is an extra cost when purchasing the license. The price of the solution is overall reasonable and paid annually or every three years. Additionally, they have a monthly license. The cost is approximately $1,000 per user."
"In the interim, there's no need to purchase videos for viewing. Microsoft has made significant moves in the .NET space, starting with their response in Visual Studio Code and now providing Visual Studio entirely for free. This is a notable shift from the past when we used to pay substantial amounts for technical subscriptions. Previously, a group of ten developers could cost several thousand dollars annually for licensing. However, the current trend is to offer these tools for free to maintain their dominance in the developer market. The market dynamics have changed, and now developers can freely download Visual Studio, making it a preferred choice over other paid options."
"Microsoft .NET Framework is free of cost."
"The solution is free but you need to pay for a license for the hosting service."
"The product and support for this solution are free for everyone."
"Microsoft .NET Framework is a free, open-source solution."
"There is a Community Edition that can be used free of charge, but the licensing cost for the Enterprise version is quite high."
