Digital documentation has boosted team efficiency and provides secure remote manual access
The best feature is the mobile access to SharePoint. It is incredibly valuable for our technicians to view wiring diagrams and manuals directly on their tablets while working under a vehicle. It removes the need to walk back to the office, saving about 20 minutes per job. Additionally, the data security features give me peace of mind; even if a tablet is broken in the shop, our business data remains safe in the cloud.

It has significantly increased the amount of work we can perform, but blocking devices could be easier.
It could be easier to put devices on the blocklist. I would like the ability to block a device with a click of a button. Currently, we have to sift through different groups to block a device. It would be nice if Scalefusion allowed me to block without moving the device to a different profile. Another helpful feature they could add is the ability to migrate from one MDM to another. I'd also appreciate more extensive cloud storage. They give you 1 GB by default, but sometimes that's not enough.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is quite friendly."
"Channel access is the most valuable feature. I can access it via any machine. I can access it via Android application, via my browser, or via the Windows application. That is one reason I like it. The multi-functionality is another valuable feature. It has quite a lot of functionalities that enable us as a business to run."
"I don't have any issues with Microsoft 365 Business, it's a good tool."
"What I like is that Office 365 is nicely integrated with our email application Outlook. We also don't have to worry about updates. They are free, and they just happen automatically."
"We've found the stability to be very good."
"The initial setup is extremely straightforward."
"It has file storage, file sharing, a provisioning box, and a SharePoint profile for each user."
"It's available online as well as via desktop applications when deployed in the cloud."
"Scalefusion is easy to use, and they have a broad knowledge base, so you can quickly find answers if you're unsure how to do something. The articles on the knowledge base are well-written, with clear steps on what to do for a specific scenario. That part is well documented."
"Its enhanced support for iOS and Windows devices has been particularly beneficial, expanding our service offerings to customers with diverse device environments."

Cons

"There are some security issues with the platform, and its security should be improved. We have to re-enter the username and password sometimes, which is quite boring for us. The usability of Outlook can be improved. Currently, it is a little bit limited and old-fashioned. They should think about the concept of dealing with emails in Teams. Teams and Outlook together will make it a complete platform. The Teams application is not user-friendly on mobile phones and should be improved."
"Updates to the SQL server with better features are needed to compete with Oracle Database."
"Sometimes it is quite hard to get a grasp on what features are going to be available at what time. For instance, we had to wait for a very long time on the breakout rules in Teams. There is a roadmap and there are also some blog posts, but you never know when you're going to get it. So it would be preferable to get it more in advance."
"I would like to see more integration in the next release."
"The solution is very large and PowerPoint and Word crash sometimes. The stability could improve."
"The solution's licensing framework needs improvement."
"Their technical support could be faster. The admin portal, report generation, and other things could also be much simpler. We can't do columns adjustment at this time. The desktop app of Teams had lots of issues recently. The web version worked fine. We had to do a lot of things in terms of infrastructure and networking. It could have been better. It is quite new, so we got to bear and go with that, and then we'll see."
"The price for the license is always expensive."
"One area for improvement could be streamlining permissions during initial device setup, especially for corporate-owned devices, to reduce manual user interaction and expedite deployment."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Licensing is on a monthly basis."
"It is expensive. It should be cheaper, especially for companies and businesses. Licensing is on a yearly basis."
"The price of the solution is fair but as a company, we would like it always to be cheaper. There is a license for this solution and the type depends on the organization."
"The product is expensive."
"We pay a monthly licensing fee for Microsoft 365 Business."
"We pay annually for the license."
"There is a subscription needed for this solution."
"It is expensive, and its price can be better."
