Remote session recording enhances server access tracking while dashboard needs improvement
PAM360 stands out due to its remote session recording capabilities, which allow us to track who accessed which server and identify any changes. The automation system is very smart, although its interface is not as sophisticated as those of Dynatrace or FortiFEM. A critical advantage is its flexibility and security, providing stability across our client interactions.

Centralized control has strengthened privileged security and simplified audit investigations
While One Identity Safeguard is a strong and reliable PAM solution, there are a few areas where it can be further improved to enhance user experience and scalability. Regarding the user interface and experience, the UI, while functional, can be a bit complex for new users. A more intuitive and modern dashboard with simplified navigation would improve adoption, especially for non-technical stakeholders. Regarding integration flexibility, although it supports major integrations, expanding out-of-the-box connectors for more cloud-native apps, DevOps tools, and SaaS platforms would be beneficial. Faster and simpler API-based integrations could reduce deployment efforts. Regarding scalability and performance in large enterprise environments, performance tuning and scaling can require additional efforts. Enhancing seamless scalability and high availability configuration would improve enterprise readiness.

Pros

"PAM360 stands out due to its remote session recording capabilities, which allow us to track who accessed which server and identify any changes."
"Our clients use this solution for the rotation of keys and passwords. It is a part of logs."
"My advice would be, if you want a cost effective solution and very competitive pricing, you should go with this product."
"We can use it remotely as well."
"ManageEngine PAM360 is an easy-to-use solution with competitive pricing compared to brands like Delinea and CyberArk."
"Deployment is very quick, and only a one-time installation process is required for ManageEngine PAM360."
"It is easy to manage. There is a very logical, clear user interface. Also, the integration of scripts is thoughtfully implemented. Overall, it's a nice product to manage."
"One of the biggest positive impacts of One Identity Safeguard on my organization is the improved control over privileged access; before implementing it, managing administrative credentials and tracking privileged activity required more manual effort, and after implementation, access became more structured and we had better visibility into who was accessing critical systems and when, which helped strengthen our security posture and made audit-related activities easier to manage."
"The scalability of One Identity Safeguard is perfect, scoring ten out of ten."
"One Identity Safeguard brings access control, auditing, and credential management together in a single solution, making day-to-day administration more efficient."
"I like Safeguard's snapshot feature that enables us to review the last time an application was opened and by whom. If there are any issues, we can look behind the scenes to see what has been done. We can suspend a user's access or close off a server."
"The whole product solves the privileged access management challenge for our company. We have a secure tunnel, a secure session manager, and automatic logging of sessions, which is good for forensic purposes. We have a rich level of logs and can trace what happened on which machine and see who did what."
"One Identity Safeguard has positively impacted our organization by providing strong security, compliance, and the data required for audits, making it really helpful."
"The first feature I like about One Identity Safeguard is the live contact point for the VPNs. This has been working very well for us, as it's both highly available and reliable."

Cons

"It should have better documentation about how to install, work and configure."
"I would rate the scalability at five out of ten. It's average."
"PAM360's dashboard needs improvement for clearer presentations, similar to ManageEngine products like AD audit plus and Password Manager Plus, which offer a clearer picture."
"I don't see any features associated with multi-factor authentication in ManageEngine PAM360."
"ManageEngine PAM360 could benefit from more automation activities and a user interface change."
"There could be improvement in latency and accessing resources for the product."
"While One Identity Safeguard is a strong privilege access management solution, there are some areas where improvements can be made."
"While One Identity Safeguard is a strong and reliable PAM solution, there are a few areas where it can be further improved to enhance user experience and scalability."
"One Identity Safeguard can be improved with a more modern and intuitive interface, better troubleshooting and diagnostic tools, enhanced real-time monitoring and reporting, and stronger integration with cloud and hybrid identity platforms to simplify administration and improve operational visibility."
"We can't review or audit HTTP and HTTPS. This functionality should be added so that we can review and audit HTTP and HTTPS."
"I think the initial setup of One Identity Safeguard could be more simplified, and the dashboard customization could also be improved."
"I rate customer support six out of ten. It needs improvement as it can significantly impact customer access."
"Our experience with technical support has been disappointing. We require more prompt and faster response times. We require answers to our questions right away but we haven't received that level of support."
"From a management point of view, it would be beneficial if One Identity Safeguard Privilege Password and One Identity Safeguard Privilege Session had a more similar interface."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Though I don't have the exact numbers related to the cost of the solution, I can say that it costs somewhere around INR 7,00,000 for ten licenses."
"The product is less expensive than one of its competitors."
"It is cheaper than CyberArk. Its price is fair."
"It is more expensive than Secret Server but way less expensive than CyberArk. As a customer, I would like the pricing to be lower, but it has a good price point."
"One Identity Safeguard is expensive and the cost goes up as we scale."
"It is a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. You don't want to get anything too cheap because then you get cheap stuff and cheap support. That really never helps anybody."
"The pricing depends on our perspective, our budget, and, of course, the competitors we are taking into account."
"Safeguard is cheaper than CyberArk."
"We have a yearly license. The cost depends on how much a company wants to invest in technology. In our organization, we believe in modern digitization and automation processes so we found it affordable. One Identity was not that much less than other solutions and it is not a cheap solution. There were number of cheaper solutions. However, it's the most effective, according to our evaluation."
"The pricing is about $80,000 per 100 servers. There are few elective costs."
