There are a lot of problems when you recover a tape. Like, if the website actually went down, there would be some problems recovering the tape. When it comes to the tape recovery, it's just a hassle. It's just that some data might be lost, and some accounts here and there might be lost. So, the whole operation when it comes to the covering of the tapes is quite a hard one.

Unified control plane has simplified hybrid data management and has automated workflow orchestration
In terms of areas where NetApp BlueXP can be improved, I focus on privacy and governance. What I mean by this is that personally sensitive information in the interface needs to be encrypted, which is called privacy. As per the governance policy, that is for data security governance policy, it also needs to have a specific policy on how this data has been categorized. If I had the opportunity to add a feature or function to NetApp BlueXP, I would ensure that privacy and governance are taken care of properly.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable aspect is that after our site blows up, we can recover the site afterward."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to view all our different systems in one place. That's the most important feature for us."
"The software interface can extract the data from the backend effectively."
"The primary benefit is that it simplifies data management. We face a lot of classification issues with our customers. They need to classify data, but they don't know how to do it. We can help them do it using BlueXP Datasense."
"NetApp BlueXP has positively impacted my organization by reducing storage management effort by thirty to sixty percent, with less time spent on day-to-day storage operations, resulting in faster provisioning of storage, where storage provisioning time drops from hours to minutes."
"If your use case involves backing up data from the cloud or transitioning data from on-prem to cloud or between multiple or hybrid clouds, NetApp BlueXP is a very good tool."
"It has improved our disaster recovery."
"NetApp BlueXP ensures my data management by storage, mobility, protection, analysis, and control, so discovering, deployment, and managing storage are all of the real strong features for it."
"NetApp BlueXP makes it easier to deliver products and manage inventory."

Cons

"There are a lot of problems when you recover a tape. Like, if the website actually went down, there would be some problems recovering the tape. When it comes to the tape recovery, it's just a hassle."
"It is not easy to integrate with Google because if we have some problems, we must talk with Google and NetApp support."
"In terms of areas where NetApp BlueXP can be improved, I focus on privacy and governance."
"The dashboard management could be improved."
"The tool needs to make its licensing pages more user-friendly."
"Performance could be a little better. In my opinion, it's a bit slow. If you click on something, it takes a while for the data to load."
"I chose eight out of ten because the UI is slow sometimes, and the initial configuration is a bit complex."
"It's a very expensive product."
"The VMware capabilities can be improved."
