Used for device management and provides automated device enrollment feature
We're happy to have a strong MDM solution like Jamf School. Not many schools can afford it, and we are lucky to have the solution. Jamf School has helped push applications to the iPad and do all the iPad System updates and app updates. With Jamf School, it's easy for teachers to monitor the iPad within the classroom and manage all the running activities. The solution's support and training resources have helped resolve user issues and manage daily tasks. It saves time and effort for us. I would recommend Jamf School to other users. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Subscription model ensures continuous updates and connectivity across devices
The subscription model of Microsoft 365 Business is beneficial since it provides continuous updates, including functional updates and transformations of the product. This contrasts with older perpetual licenses that rarely received updates. The overall suite is very complete, and being tied to a vendor that improves week by week is of great value. Implemented features like sharing calendars and access to emails on multiple devices enhance basic functionalities that were previously lacking.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It was straightforward to initially deploy it."
"The overall usage is the most valuable, and it's a clear upgrade from our previous system."
"The solution protects all our Apple products like iPads and MacBooks."
"Many features of Jamf School, including automated device enrollment, have helped us manage multiple devices."
"Microsoft Teams is the feature that I am currently leveraging for meetings, conferencing, and search-based functionalities. We've been able to extend some applications to Microsoft Teams."
"The solution is easy to use."
"The two biggest value adds of the solution are having the ability to outsource the email and not having to manage the email server. It's just seamless. Having the most current versions all around and having things updating frequently by themselves ensures that everybody's got access to the same software."
"It is easy to use. Because it is cloud-based, in terms of the user, you are not really affected in terms of performance when you are out of sight."
"Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are strong points of this solution."
"Microsoft 365 Business is easy to use, everything is clear, it has good support, and it integrates well with other solutions."
"It's easy to use."
"The feature that I have found most valuable is the ability to work everywhere on every kind of device, because I'm a Mac addict and actually it's quite good on the Mac."

Cons

"The product must improve its price."
"There is room for improvement with the security aspects, like scripting."
"If you start the system update in Jamf School, you cannot stop it."
"Having everything centralized would be a preferable update."
"The integration with other platforms could be improved."
"Excel is sometimes slow, particularly when working with large files."
"We are in a medical device space and most of the time we use Microsoft Excel for tracking a lot of information. In certain specific industries, such as aerospace and medical, from the FDA or other regulatory points of view, the solution has to be validated. It would be great if that validation document is provided by Microsoft 365 Business."
"Sometimes it is quite hard to get a grasp on what features are going to be available at what time. For instance, we had to wait for a very long time on the breakout rules in Teams. There is a roadmap and there are also some blog posts, but you never know when you're going to get it. So it would be preferable to get it more in advance."
"The solution could be a bit more mobile-friendly."
"Some menu options are not as logical as you would think, and it can take time to figure out how to go about it."
"It should have better pricing. It is a monopoly product for Microsoft, and I don't think they will change the pricing. They do not offer any discount."
"It requires logging out and in again when working for different companies."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Jamf School is an expensive solution."
"The price in general could be cheaper."
"I rate the pricing of the program a seven out of ten."
"Currently, my office pays for it, but if you want to get a license of your own, it is a bit pricey. It should be cheaper."
"The License is on a yearly basis."
"The price of users at home the license should be cheaper. We are on an annual subscription."
"The implementation is company-wide and is already very flexible price-wise."
"The solution is expensive and the price could be lowered. For example, if I want to purchase a personal Office 365 subscription, they have pricing that does not have the flexibility to choose a wide range of storage sizes, you are limited to a lower amount. If you then switch to the Business version to receive the larger storage offering it is too large and expensive. If they would allow customers to choose the storage size on-demand it would be beneficial and a big improvement."
"I find the pricing of Microsoft 365 Business to be reasonable."
