Used for device management and provides automated device enrollment feature
We're happy to have a strong MDM solution like Jamf School. Not many schools can afford it, and we are lucky to have the solution. Jamf School has helped push applications to the iPad and do all the iPad System updates and app updates. With Jamf School, it's easy for teachers to monitor the iPad within the classroom and manage all the running activities. The solution's support and training resources have helped resolve user issues and manage daily tasks. It saves time and effort for us. I would recommend Jamf School to other users. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Price and reliability need improvement while general tasks are streamlined
The pricing for Microsoft 365 is too high, and quality-wise, it does not meet high standards. The operating system is outdated and inadequate. Microsoft has very poor security, and Defender is ineffective. In terms of collaboration and file sharing, OneDrive is very clunky and has frequent sync issues. It also crashes a lot and is unreliable.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It was straightforward to initially deploy it."
"The overall usage is the most valuable, and it's a clear upgrade from our previous system."
"The solution protects all our Apple products like iPads and MacBooks."
"Many features of Jamf School, including automated device enrollment, have helped us manage multiple devices."
"Offers very good versatility."
"Microsoft 365 Business is easy to use. Most companies use Microsoft Windows as an operating system making the use of this solution straightforward. There is a small learning curve and it is something everyone can adapt to easily."
"Everything gets integrated. Different services that they provide are well integrated into the entire system, which is the biggest strength of Microsoft products. Everything works together. If I create a Microsoft Teams theme, I get a SharePoint site and planner. Everything, including permissions, is scoped, which is really nice."
"The support is good."
"The initial setup is pretty simple."
"The product is very fast and convenient to use."
"It is easy to use and user-friendly. Its performance is also good."
"Collaboration is one of the main features of Microsoft 365 Business."

Cons

"The product must improve its price."
"If you start the system update in Jamf School, you cannot stop it."
"Having everything centralized would be a preferable update."
"There is room for improvement with the security aspects, like scripting."
"I don't like the tool's administration which consists of crappy operations."
"Lacks ability to deploy on more than two devices per license."
"The solution’s cost could be improved."
"Microsoft 365 Business’s stability needs improvement. There are a lot of system downtimes. It could work better."
"If they offered more integration capabilities, that would be ideal."
"The security features and the engine they are using are not good enough. They are not able to protect you from phishing attacks, which is the biggest drawback of this solution. We have been getting phishing emails, and I have been chasing Microsoft every single day. In terms of configuration, all the controls that they have recommended are in place, but we are still getting a lot of phishing emails. I would like to see a feature that allows us to share a folder from an online archive, which is a sort of mailbox attached to the primary mailbox. Currently, you can share folders, contacts, and calendars only in the primary mailbox. You can't share any folder or other things from the online archive. The limit of the primary mailbox is 50 GB, whereas the online archive is unlimited, so it would be useful if we can share a folder from the online archive."
"They can improve their training materials."
"Microsoft 365 Business needs to improve its price."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Jamf School is an expensive solution."
"The licenses could be cheaper."
"Licensing fees are paid annually."
"The tool’s licensing and pricing are interconnected. There are different levels of licensing."
"The program is inexpensive."
"I have heard the solution is a little expensive and there is a licence needed."
"If you go with Microsoft, they will give you 80 GB in advance and all those kinds of features. They will also keep asking you to go from E1 to E2, E2 to E3, and now E5. Their prices are high, but as long as the organization is happy to pay and your emails are working seamlessly, it shouldn't be an issue."
"Pricing can always be improved."
"I think it is expensive."
