Used for device management and provides automated device enrollment feature
We're happy to have a strong MDM solution like Jamf School. Not many schools can afford it, and we are lucky to have the solution. Jamf School has helped push applications to the iPad and do all the iPad System updates and app updates. With Jamf School, it's easy for teachers to monitor the iPad within the classroom and manage all the running activities. The solution's support and training resources have helped resolve user issues and manage daily tasks. It saves time and effort for us. I would recommend Jamf School to other users. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Price and reliability need improvement while general tasks are streamlined
The pricing for Microsoft 365 is too high, and quality-wise, it does not meet high standards. The operating system is outdated and inadequate. Microsoft has very poor security, and Defender is ineffective. In terms of collaboration and file sharing, OneDrive is very clunky and has frequent sync issues. It also crashes a lot and is unreliable.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It was straightforward to initially deploy it."
"Many features of Jamf School, including automated device enrollment, have helped us manage multiple devices."
"The overall usage is the most valuable, and it's a clear upgrade from our previous system."
"The solution protects all our Apple products like iPads and MacBooks."
"Its flexibility is most valuable. It provides flexibility and a dynamic approach. It is not limited by a physical location, and it can be run on different devices from different locations."
"It's great that one user can log onto many different devices."
"I like everything. For me, this is a perfect product. It is rich in terms of features, and new functionalities are available very often. It is super straightforward to install, and their technical support is the best that I've ever seen."
"It is a complete tool."
"When trying to compare other products there are not a lot of product that can even compare with the functionality."
"This is a good product that meets all of my requirements."
"It is easy to use."
"Microsoft 365 Business includes SharePoint which is a really good tool. Plus, there are so many apps that you can integrate with this solution."

Cons

"Having everything centralized would be a preferable update."
"If you start the system update in Jamf School, you cannot stop it."
"The product must improve its price."
"There is room for improvement with the security aspects, like scripting."
"Their support could be improved. They should pick the right people who are capable of resolving technical issues."
"Previously, it was on concurrent basis access, but currently, it's on named user access. That's the biggest challenge we have, but we are looking to integrate SharePoint whereby we can have a portal where we can have the non-core users access via Sharepoint. That's what I'm looking to have an update on. So the cost is a bit of an issue."
"The solution could have better integration with other applications."
"They should simplify breakout rooms a bit. Breakout rooms are probably the most important factor. They have done some work on breakout rooms, but they probably have to do a bit more to make them simpler."
"I would prefer to use Microsoft Outlook rather than Office 365 because of the way features are available in Outlook. There are times it becomes difficult to get to certain features through Office 365. For example, if you want to recall an email that you have accidentally send across to someone this is not very easily available through Office 365. The shortcuts available through Outlook are not there in Office 365 Business."
"The platform’s GUI could be more simple to understand."
"The pricing may be a bit high."
"I would like to see more integration options."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Jamf School is an expensive solution."
"I have heard the solution is a little expensive and there is a licence needed."
"We pay regular licensing fees to continue using Microsoft 365 Business."
"There is a monthly subscription for the use of this solution."
"The licensing fee is paid yearly."
"We purchase annual licenses for this solution."
"It works out to be $12.50 per user per month."
"The cost of the subscription is fair."
"This is an expensive product because it is subscription-based, which is always more expensive than a perpetual license."
