Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Automation has streamlined complex workflows and delivers faster, more reliable onboarding
I think IBM watsonx Orchestrate can be improved by implementing simpler configuration for complex workflows and providing more flexibility when building custom integrations with internal applications. The monitoring and debugging experience could also be more detailed, especially for understanding exactly where a multi-step workflow failed and why. Regarding needed improvements, the overall user experience is fairly intuitive, but some advanced configuration areas have a steep learning curve for new users. I would also like to see more detailed, real-world examples in the documentation, particularly for complex enterprise integrations, troubleshooting, and production deployment patterns. Better production monitoring and more detailed troubleshooting would make a noticeable difference. More ready-to-use enterprise integration patterns and clearer guidance for scaling complex workflows would also help teams adopt faster.

Maximized business efficiency and reduced costs with comprehensive app development
Areas of Zoho Creator that could be improved in the future include further advancements in AI capabilities. They are working on generating AI features, and I believe enhancing the user interface could also be beneficial, as the company's focus seems more on functionality. UI could use some upgrades for better user experiences. I would like them to keep enhancing their user interface, as while functionality is essential, improvement in UI would also benefit developers and end-users alike. The desired improvements would focus on the user interface to support both developers and end-users better, even though there are alternate options available for hosting JavaScript pages, which I believe are unnecessary. HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap are supported, but I feel enhancements in UI/UX could further optimize user interactions.

Cons

"When a bot is in production, sometimes the keystrokes will not work. I am not sure why, and we have tried to contact technical support. They said that they don't have an answer for this. It happens in the the remote environment when we are deploying a bot into AWS machines. So, technical support said this happens in AWS machines sometimes: If the bot is running and the machine is locked, then at that time, the key strokes will not work. They have provided that solution, but we are trying to avoid keystrokes now."
"I had an issue lasting for the better part of three years, and it was quite severe."
"The product is not the best that it could be. There is always room to improve it a bit more. They are heading in the right direction with their innovations."
"The A2019 in early releases had been quite unstable to our experience."
"With Citrix, we need a dedicated server to work with it. This has become complicated, as it is not easy to pull all the systems together into one place. It would be better if the Automation Anywhere team could make this easy and simple."
"Not all data is good quality. This presents a challenge for automation, which is important."
"While the ease of use for non-tech users is good, it could be improved."
"The UI can be improved a little bit to make it easier for beginners to understand."
"The monitoring and debugging experience could also be more detailed, especially for understanding exactly where a multi-step workflow failed and why."
"My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for IBM watsonx Orchestrate reveals that it is expensive."
"The best things to improve about IBM watsonx Orchestrate are better debugging across multiple agent workflows."
"Better integration with other services can improve IBM watsonx Orchestrate."
"Probably the documentation could be a bit lighter and maybe integrated with AI tools that allow immediate access to the answer."
"The customer support takes longer than is reasonable."
"The UI must be improved."
"When you're developing database-type applications, there is no way to see the actual database tables. They call them forms, and I don't like that. Zoho should also provide better user guides."
"They should allow for more UI customization."
"Improvement could come from the ability to implement and create custom dashboards or subforms in Zoho Creator."
"I would appreciate more API integrations and more documentation terms related to Deluge Script in Zoho Creator."
"One significant issue with Zoho Creator is the lack of backup when items are deleted, unlike CRM where backups are available."
"In-app support is satisfactory, but my major challenge is usually via email because they take long to reply."
"I would like them to keep enhancing their user interface, as while functionality is essential, improvement in UI would also benefit developers and end-users alike."
