AI insights have improved wireless visibility and now proactively prevent network issues
I am somewhat uncertain about the room for improvement for Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points because I am sure that some concepts will be incorporated in the future. Recently, HP acquired Juniper, and now under the HP umbrella, we have both Aruba and Juniper Mist, which raises questions about how to compete in the market. Customers often ask me to compare them, and I have to pitch both even though they are from the same organization. Regarding gaps for improvement for Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points, I think pricing is a complicated issue since Cisco can drastically reduce prices, unlike Juniper.

Cons

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I pay monthly for the solution."
"Its price is reasonable."
"Huawei Wireless is a cheaper solution when you compare it to the cost of other similar solutions. It has one of the most competitive prices out there."
"Huawei licenses can be for either a one-year up to a five-year period and also apply for the tiers."
"It is not monthly. It is a kind of perpetual licensing. We pay once depending on the kind of services we need to deliver. There are no licensing fees."
"We don't have any control on the pricing. This comes from Huawei in India. Pricing-wise, Huawei is very aggressive and competitive if you compare them to competitors, like Cisco, Aruba, and Ruckus. The Indian Huawei team tells us, "Just pick up the order and design the infrastructure. If there are any pricing challenge, we'll work on that and we will try to match things 100 percent.""
"Its price is very good. This wireless system totally costs about 30,000 euros, and some of the other solutions cost about 45,000 euros. It is a difference of 15,000 euros, which is quite a lot of money."
"Extras come with a surcharge."
"The pricing is too high."
"I rate the product price as a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is inexpensive, and ten is expensive. It is a reasonably priced tool."
"I rate Juniper Mist's pricing a ten out of ten since it is expensive."
"The solution is expensive."
"The pricing is something Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) can work on. The pricing is very high compared to the competition."
"The pricing is fair."
"We pay maybe 1000 SEK per year, per access point."
"Juniper Wireless AP's price is a little more expensive than other solutions, but you get what you pay for."
