Partner program has reduced messaging costs and now supports reliable, large scale communication
I believe Gupshup could improve in several areas. Since our partnership involves working at scale for multiple WhatsApp Business API numbers over their infrastructure, I noticed that Gupshup also provides WhatsApp Business API for single consumers, which I saw on their website and documentation. They charge additionally per message or template message on top of the actual WhatsApp Business APIs messaging rate. For example, sending a WhatsApp marketing template costs around $1.50, and Gupshup adds their own service fee per message, around 20 to 30 cents. For a single consumer working at scale and sending thousands of messages daily, this can become concerning. They should implement a solution where it could be a one-off payment instead of per message payment, allowing single consumers to leverage their service better. What would make it a 10? A better engineering team that solves problems and knows the ins and outs instead of just doing patch fixes would be ideal for me. Being a tech-focused person, I believe the system we rely on should be totally reliable and the people working on it should be reliable as well.

Crowdsourced knowledge has grown into a trusted customer hub and now supports richer adoption journeys
One inconvenience is that because we are crowdsourced, we have hundreds of contributors every year, with most people only submitting one article, maybe two, so it does not make sense to pay for licenses for all of those people. This leads to some intermediary manual copy-paste processes because we just cannot have everybody working in the system itself, making it a little bit problematic for maintaining a source of truth. The main issues with NICE CXone are the lack of ability to integrate with some internal things that we want to do; it has to do with the way the system is designed, which is complex. We wanted to integrate with our internal system for instant translations, and we were not able to do that, along with a couple of other things that illustrate that it is kind of an isolated system to itself, making it pretty hard to tap into and grow even further. There are a couple of little issues with reporting that have not been very good, but really, the system is very functional.

"The return on investment has been tremendous."
"I believe Gupshup is one of the best services that I have used for sending notifications, and I totally trust it."
"I believe Gupshup has made the process of integrating WhatsApp for customers more agile."
"Gupshup has positively impacted my organization in multiple ways, significantly impacting the bottom line and providing an overall return through the WhatsApp automation report showing around 398 percent on investment over a three-year period."
"At BookMyShow, I typically achieved delivery rates above 95%, read rates between 60 to 80%, and click-through rates noticeably higher than other comparable tools."
"My main use case with Gupshup was flawless; it was very user-friendly, and I personally loved using it."
"Gupshup is doing a good job in terms of accuracy and reliability, and they can keep doing so."
"We have seen improvements in agent productivity, customer satisfaction, and reduced wait times, specifically an improvement in our CSAT scores and NPS scores, a reduction in cost per call, a decrease in average handle time, and utilization across the board has improved."
"The agent list is the most valuable feature because we are able to see what each person is doing."
"We are able to see the calls in queue and able to see if someone is available or not."
"It's easier as a supervisor to do your job more efficiently. You can have multiple things open at once to watch everything, being able to take one look at a page and see everything you need rather then having to flip through multiple programs. This is such a time saver. I get a lot more done in my day due to being able to keep my opened programs down to a minimum."
"The system is very flexible and powerful, especially for organizations wanting to control their environment."
"NICE CXone has impacted my organization positively by empowering managers, team leaders, and supervisors to be more autonomous and to proactively manage their team in real time."
"Customer support is terrific. The team is personable, informed, and responsive."
"It has the ability to edit the HTML, as well as the WYSIWYG."

Cons

"I remember that I was trying to get the webhooks about account information, and I had trouble finding in the documentation how I could receive webhooks about the account, such as when we have an account that could be blocked or when the limit of messages might be erased."
"If I suggest an improvement, I would desire to see deeper analytics."
"The main thing the support team should do is give immediate resolution, not take a day or two or three days."
"Gupshup can be improved in terms of the UI and the design of the particular model."
"I think their customer support needs to be improved as they have a very slow response time and lack local support, especially in Indonesia."
"I think Gupshup could be improved with online support or WhatsApp support so that we can talk directly with an agent, instead of working only by email."
"Gupshup could be improved by adding more selection of templates."
"I would appreciate more granular error code documentation for edge case API delivery failures, deeper out-of-the-box integration with cloud monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch or DataDog for native metric scraping, and a more responsive administrative console when querying massive historical message logs."
"My advice to others looking into using NICE CXone is that it is an expensive product with a lot of guardrails on it."
"One area where CXone could improve is in creating a more streamlined, user-friendly interface."
"NICE CXone is a good feature, but it is expensive and costlier than other products such as Genesis or other alternatives."
"There are times when the data does not load and you have to keep hitting refresh. More colors and different layouts should be included in the next release."
"We experienced a significant outage when someone at NICE CXone brought our system down."
"However, being a NICE consumer or developer for these instances and products currently, it becomes challenging due to documentation issues and the instability of some products."
"It is a hassle, if you are busy and caught up with something, that it will log you out."
"One of the things I dislike about NICE CXone is that during the evaluation process, it was promised that true omnichannel routing would be part of the product, but it turns out that was not necessarily the case."
