Google Cloud and Netlify Platform compete in cloud services. Google Cloud could have an upper hand in scalability and integration, while Netlify Platform stands out for speed and simplicity, especially for rapid deployments.
Features: Google Cloud provides extensive infrastructure services, including data storage, AI capabilities, and networking, supporting enterprise-level solutions. Netlify Platform focuses on static site deployment and increases developer productivity with built-in automation and serverless functions. The difference is Google Cloud’s comprehensive service range compared to Netlify’s efficiency in static sites and developer tools.
Ease of Deployment and Customer Service: Netlify Platform offers a seamless deployment model with built-in automation, making it suitable for quick launches. Its customer service includes comprehensive documentation. Google Cloud caters to more complex deployments for large-scale needs with extensive support options, but it has a steeper learning curve.
Pricing and ROI: Google Cloud's pricing is based on usage, leading to higher costs for extensive resources but potentially better ROI at scale. Netlify Platform provides more predictable pricing with free starter tiers and economical options for scaling, offering better ROI for smaller to mid-sized projects.
Time saved is exponential because the amount of work that gets done in a sprint is accelerated because of Netlify Platform.
It already improved the developer experience and also the client experience with us, and even the management experience and the testing experience.
There was a lot of money saved, as we were building the application from scratch and paying employees using our own technical skills to build the application.
I consider them good partners when it comes to support.
We have consulted Google support several times, and we received a quick response.
Google's technical support is highly expert and proficient.
However, I see there are options for AI and customer service; before going to customer service, we can select the AI and get help most of the time, as everything is documented.
The response was timely and helpful, and the issues were resolved efficiently.
Netlify Platform's customer support is excellent.
If I had to rate scalability from one to ten, I would rate it a nine as we have never faced any issues with scalability.
Google Cloud is highly scalable, and we have not faced any issues with its scalability.
This solution is suitable for enterprise-level organizations, particularly in finance and healthcare domains where there is substantial data volume.
The performance stays consistent globally.
There are no issues regarding scalability.
It helps you avoid any errors or bugs in the application, which helps you fix errors too, with automatic testing rather than manual testing.
Regarding the stability of the product, it is the best one.
In terms of scalability, it scales very well and easily handles increased traffic, more projects, and growing team usage without any additional infrastructure effort from our side.
It's completely, in my view, 100% stable and always available.
Netlify Platform is generally stable, and I have not experienced significant downtime or issues.
If the hierarchy or similarities were the same, that would help developers more conveniently migrate from a traditional SQL server to BigQuery.
Providing more hypervisors would be beneficial.
The logging could be improved; there's currently no intuitive way to filter logs on the Google console, especially for individuals who are not familiar with query languages.
Additionally, more advanced monitoring and logging features inside the platform would be very useful for troubleshooting.
You can add integrations such as API services and a secret service so that users do not have to manage environment variables manually through the GUI or web service.
The improvement must be a powerful back-end support like APIs and databases.
As far as I know, it is a little more expensive compared to other cloud options.
Compared to buying new hardware, Google Cloud offers flexible options for scaling up or down, making it more convenient.
We recommend it for deployment to clients who cannot afford larger budgets for Vercel or AWS.
Since I use the free tier, there is no question about pricing or setup costs.
It was just a monthly subscription.
The most valuable features of Google Cloud for us are the integration with Kubernetes, IAM, Istio integration, and Terraform capabilities.
If customers use different technologies within their environment, GCP cannot offer a full performance analysis covering all the disclosures.
I find Google Cloud to be more manageable and cost-effective compared to other solutions.
The best feature of Netlify Platform is how easily I am able to integrate it with GitHub and GitLab, along with how user-friendly it is.
I have used multiple plugins within it, and they are quite easy to use, such as adding environment variables, adding secrets, and adjusting the size of the hosted application, which means the memory, CPU, and virtual CPU memory are very convenient for me to manage.
When it comes to the new modern frameworks, all the other platforms require extra configurations to get deployed into the DNS servers, but using Netlify Platform, it is easy; everything is handled by Netlify Platform in the backend, and the deployment process and all the CI/CD pipeline that Netlify Platform handles is something which is good in regard to the modern frameworks which are used nowadays.
