What is your primary use case for Netlify Platform?

My main use case for Netlify Platform is to work on the projects that I am working on, mostly personal projects and not company ones. A quick specific example of a project I have used Netlify Platform for is that I have built a night shift calculator which helps folks who work the night shift calculate their allowance, and I am hosting my code in GitHub while Netlify Platform is used for deployment and hosting. I use the form handling part of Netlify Platform for my project.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is hosting web applications on its platform and using its name host services for the domain. A concrete example of a web application that I have hosted using Netlify Platform is my family business's website, and I needed the domain functionality in order to link, together with my domain registrar, to Netlify Platform's name servers so that the domain could be connected with the website and also to be able to use a subdomain that is for API for some APIs that I have within the platform.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is that most of my projects are web-based, and I deploy those on Netlify Platform for my students so they can keep everything locally and host it for the students without sharing the code, ensuring that everything runs smoothly on cloud-based infrastructure.

I have used Netlify Platform in direct software development projects, automation projects, dashboards, and day-to-day process automations in the company that used to be done manually.

I typically use Netlify Platform for deploying my web projects, especially front-end projects. I have deployed multiple projects using Netlify Platform, including a gaming platform where users can play our games. I have deployed numerous projects such as e-commerce projects, landing pages, admin panels, and stores for various educational institutes, clinical stores, and websites. In our company, we use custom domains for production deployments. However, when we are testing or working in a staging environment, we use Netlify Platform to test our products and API integrations. After testing is complete, we connect the domain with Netlify Platform and deploy to that domain.

My project is hosted on Netlify Platform and is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It is a quote generator that provides a new quote every time a user wants to access a motivational quote. Netlify Platform provides an easier way to connect directly from my GitHub repository to hosting. This project works best because if I complete any changes, Netlify Platform reflects them automatically, so I can give my link to my professor and any changes will be automatically updated for any other user accessing that link.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is for testing. I set up production pipelines to test a web application before production to see how it works. I also use it for hosting personal projects.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is deploying front end applications. I use it for deployments with React and JavaScript, and I work with my GitHub for deployment through Netlify. When I deploy my directory and encounter an error, I use the directory to troubleshoot. I don't have anything else to add about my main use case with Netlify Platform; I'm comfortable with it, and it works well for me.

Currently, I do not have a very large application; I have two static pages, one is a portfolio and the other is a lightweight e-commerce for selling products.

The main use case for Netlify Platform is its very simple CI/CD integration with GitHub, automatic deployments on push, which includes a built-in CDN, and easy environment management. It shows the preview for a pull request, and for front-end focused teams, it has reduced the DevOps overhead. My use case with Netlify Platform includes single-page applications, Next.js, hosting landing pages, and even small SaaS front ends. A blogging website for my client is a specific project where I used Netlify Platform to deploy. It was hectic because the client wanted deployments again and again, so I integrated Netlify Platform with my GitHub. Whenever I push the code into my main branch or accept the PR from other branches to the main branch, it automatically deploys the application to Netlify Platform, and clients get updated at the moment.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is that I'm using the free tier, so whenever I have a proof of concept, it's very easy for me to develop it and very quickly deploy it. When I was doing Udacity mentorship as a mentor, I used to encourage my students to use Netlify so they can quickly share their work with friends and family, because it's super easy to deploy. Using Netlify Platform for my proof of concepts and mentorship projects makes things easier compared to other platforms because AWS is quite complicated. For self-hosting, that's also super complicated. Basically, it takes the least amount of steps for you to have your project up and running, especially the front-end one. So it has been a blessing. Whenever I taught them, especially my Udacity mentees, they followed along and then the next day I saw all of them having their work up because it was super easy. I usually encourage others to use Netlify Platform because it's free and the free tier is awesome. Whenever we're trying to do a proof of concept of some specific UI style, sometimes a proof of concept for a specific dashboard style, I would also encourage them to put it up here because it's a one-minute deployment and they will be able to share it with the rest of the team as a demo.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is to deploy my projects and to control GitHub deployment. I am currently working on a project called Be A Richy, which is an e-commerce project similar to Shopify. I feel Netlify Platform is great for my main use case.

I typically use Netlify Platform to deploy my front-end applications because I am a software developer with a few experiences on the back end, but most of my experience is on the front end. I have used Netlify CMS once, sometime in 2022 for a blog. My typical use case is just for deployment. I was really excited about my first project, which was an assignment at a bootcamp I attended. I was asked to build an e-commerce website where users can place orders with products displayed, and I was able to deploy it on Netlify Platform. It was really exciting for me because I was able to send the link to family and friends to show them what I was able to achieve. After that, I also used it for a Kanban board, something similar to Trello, which I also deployed on Netlify Platform. I have also deployed a to-do app, which I created on Netlify Platform and used for my own personal use. These are a few of the projects I have deployed on Netlify Platform that I was really excited about. I am going to speak for the time I was working with an organization that used Netlify Platform extensively. For my current organization, they do not use Netlify Platform as much. However, when I was interning at TechPlus, they used Netlify Platform extensively. It was at that point that I had to integrate Netlify CMS to their blog site. At that time, I had to integrate Netlify CMS to their blog application. With that, it was easy for the team to update the blog post, and Netlify CMS gave us an interface where we could easily make updates to our blog application. We also deployed our applications on Netlify Platform during development, and with that, it was easy for the team members to see updates. The CI/CD feature was really cool. You could just make updates to the applications and let team members know that an update has been made, and every member of the team could see the update, especially the project managers who were always asking for updates on recent pushes. They could easily refresh the URL and see the updates in real-time.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is to host three websites. One of those websites is an AI discoverability index platform, which is a multi-agentic system that operates as a global benchmark for brand, product, and service discoverability within AI-mediated economies. We also combine Netlify Platform with railway workers, Neon, and Postgres as the source of truth.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is that I hosted one of my projects there, and I use it solely for hosting. A quick, specific example of the project I hosted on Netlify Platform is that it was a kind of chat application. The chat application I developed was not real-time, but I used Socket.IO for real-time chatting.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is deploying my personal projects and utilizing the CI/CD capabilities. A specific example of a project I deployed using Netlify Platform is an e-commerce app, which is a single-page application. I integrated it with Netlify using GitHub, enabling automatic deployment. Day-to-day, I mainly use Netlify Platform for deployment and for generating a URL to share with my friends, who review the projects on social media.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is for hobby purposes and for testing purposes. For example, I need to deploy some instant React applications, so I use it for that. I can instantly deploy with only one command, connect to GitHub, and directly using Netlify Platform, I deploy my React applications. I do not have anything else to add about my main use case or how I use Netlify Platform.

I have been personally using Netlify Platform for more than two years since my college days. My main use case for Netlify Platform is to deploy services, such as my front-end applications. I deployed a weather application using Netlify Platform that allows users to check the weather for a specific place. It was a React application. The main benefit of the projects I have deployed using Netlify Platform is the ease and simplicity of the process. You simply provide the link of your GitHub repository, and it will authorize your GitHub account using a SaaS token, then deploy your services very easily. In my organization, we cannot use Netlify Platform because we use a different cloud provider. It is a SaaS service, and we manage our infrastructure ourselves. I have used Netlify Platform for my personal projects, primarily for public cloud deployment.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is hosting my self projects and websites, specifically static websites.A quick example of a project I have hosted using Netlify Platform is when I was learning React and created a website for that purpose. I may explore other types of projects or features in the future.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is that it is easy to deploy the website without changing the code and pushing it manually by myself. Whenever I make any changes to my portfolio website, for example, if I complete any new certification or anything which I need to add to my profile, I just change the code in my local desktop and push it back to GitHub. Through GitHub, Netlify Platform picks up the updated code and it reflects back the new changes, so that made it easy with Netlify Platform cloud environment. I have a lot to add about my main use case and how I use Netlify Platform in my workflow because it is also easy for me to use multiple options over there. For example, I sometimes use Netlify Platform CLI and sometimes I do it myself on my local desktop and push it to GitHub, but there are pretty much options in Netlify Platform. There is also a lot of documentation present in the platform where I can refer to and make changes if I need to in some other or different ways.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is deploying my local website to a hosted platform where I can share the link with multiple people so that they can easily access and use that particular website, which can be built in any language, irrespective of the language being used. I use it for deployments of both back-end and front-end services. It is easy and fast to deploy websites and website applications.

My biggest use case for Netlify Platform is to deploy my front-end website and create a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub itself. For example, I built my college project, a lost and found website. I created the UI in React, made the repository in GitHub, created a CI/CD pipeline to Netlify Platform, and hosted my project there. I have hosted several other projects as well. I also hosted a UI for a platform as a service I was building for my personal project, which is a video platform where you can have video calls. For that as well, I used Netlify Platform.

I last used Netlify Platform in March 2022 for hosting web services on the platform. My main use case was to create a full stack application for workforce management and banking services, using Netlify Platform as a third-party integration through GitHub to host these services to clients and customers. I was part of a team of ten software engineers building a full stack application for workforce management and banking services. The company was based in Detroit, Michigan, with operations for an African company based in Nigeria. We had to provide banking services to the customer base across all of Africa. We developed a full stack application providing banking services including credit and debit card functionality, online banking, and a separate application for growing and managing the workforce. All of this was developed using React JS on the front-end and Python on the back-end. We successfully connected GitHub third-party integration with Netlify Platform to host our services in Africa and successfully connected with clients and customers across all of Africa.

My main use case for Netlify Platform is mostly for the deployment of websites and domain exchanges from Cloudflare or any host platform. A quick, specific example of a project I've deployed using Netlify Platform is a recent project where the backend was deployed in an AWS instance and I had to add the subdomain for that particular website. I routed the DNS from Cloudflare and since I bought the domain from Namecheap, I routed the DNS and deployed in the same way through Netlify. I use Netlify Platform mostly for my side projects and personal use, so I utilize it for deployment and related services.

My main use case for Netlify Web Development Cloud is deploying my applications, such as deploying my personal applications so that everyone can access my made application through a link. I use Netlify Web Development Cloud for academic web development projects, personal learning and practice projects, React-based front-end applications, static websites for demonstrations, and portfolio purposes, with these applications hosted publicly for easy access by faculty, peers, and reviewers without any local setup.
