Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Structured workflows have improved ticket resolution and have prevented hardware losses
The two best features GLPI by Teclib offers are the inventory management and the help desk ticketing system. Having equipment history linked to user support tickets has made resolving issues much faster and easier. The inventory feature saves me time because I don't have to ask users for their equipment details as the specs are already in the system. With the ticketing system, having a full history of past uses allows us to solve repeat problems much faster without starting from scratch. The knowledge base feature is really useful for documenting solutions to common issues so team members don't have to troubleshoot the same problem twice. GLPI by Teclib has positively impacted my organization by bringing structure and clarity to our daily work. Before GLPI by Teclib, support requests were chaotic, but now everything is centralized. It has improved our response time, reduced user downtime, and helped us keep total control of our IT assets. The ticket resolution time is much faster now because we can easily track and prioritize incidents. We haven't lost any hardware since we started using GLPI by Teclib because everything is registered and assigned to a specific user.

Offers multi-tenancy architecture, both in terms of functionality and reporting, requires minimal configuration and no-code deployment
We're still biased towards our previous, more mature product. 4me still needs to reach that level of maturity. However, for most users, the product will do what they need. It's only when you have mature service management processes and need deeper integrations at the process level that you might encounter some limitations. But for less mature needs, 4me works well.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"With Automation Anywhere, what used to take us two days now takes us twenty minutes."
"AA has improved our efficiency and saved on manual hours because no manual interaction is required."
"Since our implementation, I can vouch for the fact that it is very easy to use. You do not need to know a lot of coding, even the business users, who have virtually no idea of coding, can easily operate it. They can run their bots and have the analysis ready for higher management. This is something which provides a great ease of use, and also in part why it is scalable."
"Overall, the commands provided have enough range to complete almost any task, with creative out-of-the-box thinking required sometimes for workarounds."
"Being able to implement automation is valuable. We take the business logic and provide a solution to the client. Defining the intelligence pipeline is the most interesting and challenging aspect for me."
"The way templates can be configured is quite simple - it's a matter of drag and drop."
"Automation Anywhere and even previous versions, which I've worked on, have good core functionality. The core functionality of being able to automate and build a solution that is local and low code is one of the key differentiators that's allowed us to find success."
"With IQ Bot, we can now include cognitive automation into our process. The cognitive document processing is pretty good with IQ Bot."
"In terms of cost savings since switching to GLPI by Teclib, we probably reduced our IT support budget by about 50 percent."
"The most valuable features of GLPI are its ITSM capabilities, including ticketing, automatic tasks, plugins, and notification systems."
"GLPI helps with tracking device assets. For example, when I assign a laptop to an employee, the GLPI agent installed on the client device gathers detailed information about it."
"The most valuable features of GLPI are asset management, asset tracking, asset reporting, and ticket management. We use it as a configuration management database (CMDB), which is very useful for impact assessment and change management. The license management feature is also beneficial because it is bundled with asset management. When an agent reports a certain set into the database, all the software running on that host or server is assessed, collected, and reported. This makes license management very useful. Since implementing GLPI, we've noticed that our IT operations are more stable. The tool allows us to manage changes in the environment more effectively by creating change requests for assets. GLPI supports our processes, allowing us to organize IT operations with custom forms and workflows, making it quite flexible. Although the deployment is still in progress, we see significant benefits in organizing our IT processes with this tool."
"GLPI by Teclib has had a positive impact on my organization and my clients' work because it has made it possible to better manage the equipment and then, regarding tickets, it allows fairly smooth ticket management across different sites, as well as being able to manage users well."
"The tool's most valuable features include UI, visualization, and data scraping."
"In my opinion, the best features that GLPI by Teclib offers our organization are its speed, smoothness, user-friendliness, and intuitiveness."
"The product is user-friendly."
"The solution is highly stable."
"The multi-tenancy architecture, both in terms of functionality and reporting, is the best feature. It is a really well-thought, designed, and developed part of this product."
"I like their request management as well as their project management."
"When compared to BMC Helix ITSM, the 4me setup is much simpler and less complicated."
"It offers a comprehensive set of features without requiring additional payments for each feature."

Cons

"They need to improve the real-time data and analytics."
"We face issues with Excel file creation. I’m trying to create a file in Excel .xls, it is getting corrupted."
"It is difficult to learn all the possibilities that the product and automation itself offer."
"In A2019 it does not display the exact running status, but rather it displays the previous one."
"I never use Automation Anywhere in the attended space because they are bad at that, at least compared to other players like us or UiPath."
"There is a small thing from a development point of view. There should be a static site box for finding any command if I am writing a code. If there are hundreds of functions, you can only scroll up and down to find one each one. There should be a site box where we can find the commands and easily use them."
"There should be a meeting between the Automation Anywhere team and the end-users to understand whether the process can be made to work on the first attempt."
"So far, the stability is not good. We are trying to improve this because we are facing a lot of instability issues."
"The stability of Windows OS could be enhanced."
"GLPI by Teclib can be improved, particularly about the notification."
"GLPI by Teclib can be improved as sometimes it gets slowed down."
"One area for improvement is the occasional issues we encounter, which are not directly related to GLPI but are due to network providers. These include network errors like 502 and 504, indicating some failure in network communication with the server."
"In my opinion, GLPI by Teclib could be improved by potentially integrating certain elements that are currently only available via plugins."
"For the free version, the tool should improve the graphics as it is kind of old school. The graphics are very flat compared to Google Workspace and Office 365."
"The UI of GLPI by Teclib is a bit old-fashioned, to be honest."
"I rate GLPI by Teclib a seven out of ten. I choose seven because GLPI by Teclib is a stable system but I do not give it a ten because it lacks some functionality regarding KPIs."
"One area where I believe there's room for improvement in the 4me system is the absence of an asset discovery tool."
"We're still biased towards our previous, more mature product. 4me still needs to reach that level of maturity."
"We would like to be able to customize and brand the solution, or at least the majority of its features and dashboards, particularly those that will be used by a large number of people."
"Asset Discovery is a feature that should be added."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Initially, they charged a premium, but now the rest of the vendors have increased their overall pricing and Automation Anywhere is not that high at this time. It's pretty viable."
"Approximately, for a developer, it is around $750 for a license a year. For Bot Runners, it is about $550."
"It is the most economically friendly and it provides you with a lot of functions."
"They are already coming out with a community license, which is really good. That's something that I wish to have."
"We are not receiving the right information about their features, e.g. Automation Anywhere University, or anything that they are selling. They need to improve their documentation."
"Automation Anywhere University is pretty good. They make it available free for everyone."
"This is a comprehensive automation offering with a scalable architecture and flexible pricing models."
"Automation Anywhere is affordable."
"I have used the tool's open-source version...GLPI Network Cloud is 19 Euros per month. It comes with one agent only, but if you use the IT asset management part, it is unlimited."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"This pricing falls on the lower end of the spectrum, making it a cost-effective option."
"The licensing costs on the website are about $60 for pay-as-you-go. And then it decreases based on volume discounts or something."
"It is the most affordable because it is priced per month per user."
"The pricing is expensive."
