Modern AI workflows have become faster and data validation has supported complex microservices
We could use hyperscale vector indexing and upgrade the storage engine so that density and throughput would be higher. If Couchbase Server introduced natural language query capabilities, that would be helpful for everyone to use it in a more effective manner. The logging part could also be improved. Advanced security and logging would help us make the application more resilient. Couchbase Server is the best, but if natural language query capabilities were introduced, it would be easier for developers. Instead of writing queries, they could write using natural conversion language and give prompts to Couchbase Server, and they could get results in seconds.

Delivers superior search and data aggregation capabilities
Neo4j helps with advanced search needs, providing good search results and aggregates compared to MongoDB. Aggregating with MongoDB can be difficult; however, with Neo4j, it's easier. Aggregating data, backing up, and creating new clusters are user-friendly from the back end. In DevOps web deployment, we noticed no database issues. We created Docker instances and set them up efficiently, managing databases up to 50 gigabytes.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Couchbase Server is a high-performance NoSQL document database that we primarily use for caching and generative AI to develop modern applications using rapid data access and offline support for offline mobile applications, along with flexible data modeling."
"Couchbase Server's primary benefit is that our data is in JSON form, and it is very fast in comparison to saving and retrieval with low latency."
"Couchbase Server has positively impacted my organization as we have significantly used it in most of the applications."
"From knowing how Couchbase Server works and the performance outcome which I saw in real projects during battle testing and during anti-DDoS efforts, during my own project, I still keep using Couchbase Server and I am comfortable with it."
"I primarily use Couchbase Server for cache because this cache is very useful and the performance is excellent."
"Couchbase Server provides us with more flexibility and a great cache."
"I would advise others considering Couchbase Server to note that compared to other tools such as MongoDB, it is easier to use, reliable, and offers high availability while continually adding more features, making it a suitable choice, especially for large data environments."
"Couchbase Server positively impacts my organization as it serves as a crucial tool for my consulting services, allowing me to offer solutions to my clients' problems."
"Neo4j helps with advanced search needs, providing good search results and aggregates compared to MongoDB."
"The solution's best feature is how it differs from traditional SQL databases. It's hard to map people and find those near me in SQL, which requires long, complex queries. Neo4j Graph Database makes this easier with simpler queries. It also supports more data types, like JSON, which SQL doesn't."
"The graph modeling paradigm suits our data set well, where there may be orders of magnitude more connections between data points than data points themselves."
"For now, the tool doesn't break down or stop, so it is quite stable."
"Enables people to understand what the business problem is and how the technology helps."
"As a graph database, I am surprised at their performance and response time."
"It is good for search-based tasks, providing solid search results and aggregate results."
"It enables circumstances which would have been a complex problem to be simplified."

Cons

"It would be great to have a kind of pub/sub in Couchbase Server."
"To improve Couchbase Server, I believe they need more educational tutorials focused on developers, as understanding how to use it effectively is essential, and they should prioritize developer needs over sales perspectives."
"We could use hyperscale vector indexing and upgrade the storage engine so that density and throughput would be higher."
"Couchbase Server requires more enhancement, particularly with the MCP launched by Couchbase Server which is not yet fully functional and offers limited tools that are not beneficial for automating production workflows."
"I am happy with the present support of Couchbase Server, but I would appreciate if customer support were more proactive and provided immediate responses."
"With one year of experience, I can suggest improvements for Couchbase Server."
"There are concerns about performance and whether the tool can necessarily scale to provide the solution."
"The only problem is that the community is quite small."
"There are things I found unintuitive or difficult to understand, however I can't say this is a deficiency in the product and likely more a function of my relatively low experience."
"So far, we have not had any issues and are happy with the product in general."
"The tool could improve by having more resources, especially for Golang, which we use. It lacks good basic libraries and doesn't have an ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) tool, which many NoSQL databases have. We thought about building an ORM for the Neo4j Graph Database but are too busy."
"For me, when the tool was deployed on an on-premises model, it was a little bit difficult the first time."
