We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I believe that having one system that handles all of the functions that we need in a business, such as marketing, sales, pipeline management, project management, meetings, customer contact, customer feedback, social media integrations, and connections to our cloud data storage, Google, and Microsoft, is a good idea.""Bitrix24's workflow is better than that of others. The user interface is also good.""The solution's most valuable feature is its project management functionality...It is a pretty stable solution.""We use many of this solution's features for communication and for process automation. It offers more functionality than a regular CRM.""The data interpretation feature in Bitrix24 is good.""It's a very easy-to-use product.""It is a very scalable solution...The tool currently operates efficiently and contributes to our ongoing digitization efforts, including documentation and workflows.""We are considering Bitrix24 as an office automation solution for our workplace productivity-related issues, project management activities, and staff tracking."

"Microsoft Project Server helps organizations in collaboration.""It is a scalable solution. We have been able to manage larger scale projects easily using this solution.""One notable positive aspect is its effective project-tracking capabilities.""Capacity management and task baselining are the most valuable features of Microsoft Project Server.""The technical support for Microsoft Project Server and the support is very good. Microsoft support is working very well.""Project schedule management is very good. Basically, it sits on SharePoint. So, every time we create a project, a new project site is created within that SharePoint environment, which is a very good document repository. It allows us to create issues and risks lists and additional functionality to keep track of what's going on with projects.""I like the way you can build the schedule by the Don't Start Before or Don't Start After values. You can use it to build your schedule based on how you change your dates. This is how it actually builds the schedule.""A single place for all our organisation's project records."

Cons
"There are some bugs in the mobile system.""We didn't have the ability to customize the solution.""The user interface could be improved or simplified. When you log in and see so many functions, it's a little overwhelming.""Our financial department does not use Bitrix24 because it's not good for the sort of work they do. So, once we create an invoice in Bitrix24, we sent it to the client and the financial department and they enter it separately into their system. This is not great for us since we can't track what happens after a sale.""The stability could be improved.""Compared to Microsoft, we found Bitrix24 a little complex because it's new to us, and we don't understand it much.""It's a team management tool, but the way the tasks are assigned and the way you are able to control them are lacking when compared to Asana or monday.com. The latter tools are a lot more adaptable to team management. Thus, better features to control the team are needed in Bitrix24.""In my opinion, everything needs improvement. It all starts with the user experience. It's extremely difficult to use, it's always lagging, It doesn't look particularly appealing, in terms of how it looks, and it is extremely difficult to locate the stages."

"The product is difficult to use for complex projects.""Project Server could be improved by simplifying how tasks are assigned and reviewed on a daily basis.""The reporting aspects can be improved, which is one of the reasons why I'm using Qlik Sense. In the older on-prem versions, reporting was lackluster, to say the least. Project Online has a better handle on that. However, we will still be using Qlik Sense. We're also looking at an add-on app from a company called OnePlan that adds some additional functionality where Microsoft is not as clean in its approach for things such as portfolio management and some of the trends analysis.""Resource management has room for improvement because it uses a lot of resources.""It may be considered expensive.""The solution could have more compact dashboards, such as one finds with Planview.""I'd like it if we could divide out the project calendars. On one project server, we might follow five projects or more at one time, and we'd like to see all of the items at once so that it becomes a long loop, but one where we can identify different projects in tandem and then focus on which we need to at the time. While I only have visibility into one, I'd like to see several at a time.""The initial setup was complex."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing for this program is reasonable."
  • "We were using the free version which was really limited in terms of functionality."
  • "Licenses are cheap compared to other solutions."
  • "The cost is $2,500, which will be spread out over 18 to 24 months."
  • "Bitrix24 is a cheap tool. I think our costs are somewhere between $1,000 and $5,000 per month. There are no additional costs with it. We did put in some hours to clean up some project-related stuff in it, but it was not much."
  • "Price-wise, it is a very cheap solution."
  • "Bitrix24 offers an open-source option for small companies, but you can order a bigger range of services on a monthly or yearly contract."
  • "The product's pricing is okay for me. It is not expensive."

  • "I think they need more flexibility with licensing, because there are preconceived ideas that don't allow as much flexibility with the various licenses."
  • "The licensing was procured before my involvement."
  • "It has features that cannot be bought by other rivals, so cost does not matter."
  • "It is on the expensive side."
  • "There is a licensing cost."
  • "There is an annual license required for this solution."
  • "I cannot comment on the price as I was not responsible for purchasing the solution."
  • "I'm not quite sure about the licensing costs. We're probably paying somewhere in the neighborhood of about 80,000 to 90,000 a year for our current on-prem because we handle our own licensing. As far as Project Online is concerned, we're still trying to get a good handle on that. It looks like it is going to be in a neighborhood of about 120,000 to 150,000 a year, but we're getting a lot more capability out of it."
