Has supported secure data storage with incremental backups and centralized monitoring
Azure Backup supports all the features that we need, so additional features are not an immediate need for me. The documentation for Azure Backup seems okay for me; it is good overall, but it should be more descriptive for each item. It should elaborate more on how backup and restore are fulfilled in different scenarios. One of the reviews indicates that Azure Backup needs improvements for specific backup options beyond just full VM snapshots. I believe it should be improved actually. Regarding specific backup options, I say there should be improvements compared to how they provided them in older days.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like the product's restoration cases."
"The setup of Azure Backup is very easy."
"From a day-to-day operation perspective, the installation and configuration of the Azure Backup and the backup timing are great."
"Azure Backup is easy to manage from a single dashboard."
"Microsoft technical support is okay; I never had any problem with it, and compared to Amazon Web Services, I think I like Microsoft's support because I just have to call them to obtain all the support that I need, and they are very proactive, helping you build solutions since they know that your business will grow and mature after helping you design the solution, provide you with tools, and free licenses."
"The best features of Azure Backup are its ease of restoration without any challenges; I've never seen something similar to that."
"I have no issues with the stability at all. So I don't necessarily care about the stability of the product. I look more at whether or not can I recover. And I haven't had a failed recovery yet. I've got no failed recoveries of all my years."
"I have no issues with the stability at all, and I haven't had a failed recovery yet in all my years."
"The reliable backup and restoring of the Salesforce data is the most valuable feature."
"The most valuable feature for our customers is the restore functionality."

Cons

"Azure Backup could improve by offering better integration for Oracle databases and enhancing features like granular restore and backup compliance capabilities."
"On-prem can be complex to set up but the cloud is simple."
"I would like to see more automation, integration, and security. The price could be better."
"Technical support can be slow to respond at times."
"I can’t use the solution to restore another native cloud solution. Azure must add this new feature."
"I believe more options could be available to understand better what's happening in the system. Additionally, automating the client updates and connector updates would be beneficial. Updating the connector from time to time can be challenging, and it could be made more transparent and straightforward for users. Moreover, another drawback lies in the time it takes to test full data backup recovery. Deploying a full recovery takes longer. We need to allocate a longer period for complete data recovery to establish the environment again."
"It would be helpful if it included the ability to perform Office 365 backups so that we didn't have to use additional software."
"The product could improve its performance."
"There is need to do the same for the other SaaS applications."
"The anonymization feature can be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is not expensive."
"The product's pricing is a three or four out of ten, where one is inexpensive, and ten is costly."
"The pricing of this solution is good, and it is one of the easiest things that you can sell Azure with."
"Azure Backup can be expensive if you are not vigilant about your storage steering."
"Azure Backup is a product that is priced at a cheap rate, and it is a great tool."
"It is incredibly cost-effective and offers fixed pricing, with no additional fees for the licensing."
"We have enterprise-level pricing. I rate the pricing a five out of ten."
"The price should be cheaper, but it's affordable if you use the yearly subscription."
