The user interface is easy to understand, but its performance could be improved
I also work with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. Unlike Axway AMPLIFY B2B Integration, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator doesn't have a UI-based platform to monitor all incoming and outgoing transactions. We use IBM Sterling B2B Integrator for everything, including transmission. We use Axway AMPLIFY B2B Integration only for transmission purposes. We use Axway AMPLIFY B2B Integration because it has a great user interface, which makes it very easy to monitor everything. IBM Sterling B2B Integrator is better than Axway AMPLIFY B2B Integration because it is a very robust solution. Unlike cloud-based systems, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator can handle very complex logic. It can easily process files with 5 GB to 10 GB sizes. Once you take the license, you won't have to pay anything extra for computing power.

Enhances operational efficiency with valuable prepackaged content and cost-effective pricing
For organizations that operate within an SAP ecosystem, SAP Process Orchestration is recommended due to its cost-effectiveness and the availability of valuable prepackaged content. It is important to consider the needs of your industry, as SAP Process Orchestration may not meet all requirements in consumer-oriented sectors. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The automation of all the data transfers is great."
"Axway AMPLIFY B2B Integration has a great user interface that is easy to understand."
"The solution is stable."
"I rate the product's setup phase a nine on a scale of one to ten, where one is difficult and ten is easy since it is a very easy process."
"The solution's technical support is good."
"The initial setup is easy...The solution gets automatically connected. The deployment takes six months. I rate its setup phase a ten out of ten."
"The initial setup was straightforward."
"The solution offers very good documentation and manuals to assist with understanding the solution."
"It is a scalable solution."
"The main benefit is that the solution is low maintenance. Moreover, it's the license cost is very low because it's part of the package. The maintenance is standard maintenance. And the updates are regular. So there's a regular update and you can choose whether you want to do those updates or not."

Cons

"The solution's performance could be improved and made similar to that of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator."
"The initial setup can be a bit tricky."
"The monitoring governance offered by SAP is too technical and needs to be geared more toward business users."
"The product roadmap suggests it will approach the end of support in several years, and a lot of innovations are now implemented by SAP not in SAP PO, but in SAP Integration Suite, hence, the platform is stable, but doesn't receive a lot of new features in recent updates."
"It does not have all of the industry-standard solutions available in PO and it is not plug and play, so we have to do a lot of development."
"I think the main area that SAP PO should improve on is offering pre-delivered content like they do when you use SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). SAP should not forget that they still have a lot of customers using Process Orchestration and they should focus more on providing pre-delivered content in SAP PO."
"Process Orchestration needs to provide secure connectivity as no one has any data information."
"The user interface of SAP Process Orchestration should be more modern to enhance its appeal. It can seem complicated and outdated to new users."
"Some configurations can be a little tricky."
"The older version of the solution will no longer be supported."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Compared to other SaaS platforms, the solution's pricing is less."
"Normally, you will have to choose CPU-based licensing...I rate the tool price a five out of ten."
"Looking at market conditions, vendors nowadays are giving products at very low price levels. However, SAP Process Orchestration have not yet reduced their prices. The prices could be reduced a lot to stay competitive."
"The license is a one-time payment, and additional costs are only incurred on the infrastructure side since it's an on-premise solution."
"The product is not a low-priced solution, but I can say that it is competitively priced in the market."
"It's not an expensive solution."
"The solution is highly-priced."
"My company deals with different pricing models of the product, according to which we don't pay for the solution directly, but we do pay for the maintenance part."
"The pricing depends on what type of client you are with SAP and the contract you have. There is a licensing cost that needs to be paid."
