Centralized billing has simplified monitoring costs and has supported unified resource planning

The best feature of AWS Marketplace is that they have nearly all services needed, and the pay-as-you-go model is the best offering. The pay-as-you-go model for DataDog and Lacework helps us as we connect with the Lacework team, finalize a contract, and then they send us an AWS Marketplace link through which we complete the payment process, helping in budget and resource planning. The major impact of AWS Marketplace on my organization is that we get billing on a single account, meaning we do not have to manage multiple billings; just one main AWS account handles everything. Due to the single billing account, we could do reservations of servers, which saves us across all the organizations. Since we have multiple AWS accounts, it helps when we have a single billing account for everything.

Azure Marketplace's best features for us include the fact that we have a Microsoft solution, which is why we are using Microsoft Azure since we have all other applications such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and all applications. Azure Marketplace's interoperability with other Microsoft products is very important since Microsoft has a large number of products such as Microsoft 365, and within Microsoft 365, there are many applications we use such as SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate. These applications integrate easily with Microsoft services, whether it is Azure or Azure DevOps, where we require some interface. Azure Marketplace could be better in this regard, though other cloud services are also good if we only deploy applications on the cloud side.
