Alibaba Cloud has evolved a lot in all specially in AI space, but still needs to improve the support offered to users.
The part where the product lacks is not because of the services it offers. The support offered by the tool is ridiculous. Whenever you raise the support ticket, someone from China comes over the phone. When I used to raise a ticket for support, some person from China came along with another English-speaking person to whom I had to explain my issues, after which the English-speaking individual used to translate it into Mandarin for the person from China. The Chinese person used to explain something in Mandarin to the English-speaking person, and it used to keep happening continuously, making it a hectic support service from Alibaba Cloud. The support was time-consuming, and it was also frustrating. As a technical person, if you are someone who is expecting something to be done as soon as possible and the support services offered to you turn out to be time-consuming and frustrating, then it won't be a great experience for the users.

Advanced integration and flexible architecture drive efficient business solutions
I have to gain more maturity to provide some improvements to Amazon Bedrock. I have a lot to do with the environment they already provided. For example, they are able to connect to any LLM solution such as Llama, Meta, Gemini, or ChatGPT. It is open; you just choose your favorite LLM solution, and you can integrate it into Amazon Bedrock. We have a lot of possibilities to do this integration at this moment; we just need to work on it, create more maturity, and then we can provide some enhancements that we can see on the solution as a whole. For companies in general, the main pain point or main issue related to Amazon Bedrock is security because they are not confident that all information is hidden by this kind of architecture. They wonder if they are providing some company information that can run away, and I think that is the challenge we have now. We need to find ways to work on it and make our clients' data secure. They are looking for that to guarantee that this is a great solution for companies that is also secure.

"The no-code application of the service is beneficial since it allows creating solutions without extensive coding knowledge."
"Amazon Bedrock is an artificial intelligence engine that allows me to upload analyses of the quality of customer support calls."
"Amazon Bedrock's main value lies in its LLM capabilities; these are not generally things you can host easily on SageMaker, and you have to build up custom environments, particularly if you want access to the proprietary models."
"The valuable feature of Bedrock is its flexibility and comprehensiveness in what it's offering, providing parameters that we can change."
"Data encryption while in transit and at rest is managed through Bedrock account."
"One of the best features of Amazon Bedrock is that it is easy to use, and users do not have to worry about the infrastructure."
"Bedrock offers various foundational models in one place."
"Amazon Bedrock is very easy to configure and launch, and it takes care of the creation of Docker images with CodeBuild and putting the images into the ECR repository very simply and easily with the help of Agent Core and Amazon Bedrock Agent Core."

Cons

"The solution name is not favorable in some markets and could cause us some problems gaining customers."
"The support offered by the tool is ridiculous."
"From a performance point of view, Huawei and Azure are faster. Alibaba isn't as good."
"The user experience must be improved."

"What could be improved for Amazon Bedrock to make it more mature is that AWS needs to consider bringing their platforms together, and not having different ML and AI platforms."
"One area for improvement is in cost—it tends to be a bit on the higher side, especially for enterprise versions."
"While working with Bedrock, I incurred charges that were not explicitly mentioned in the pricing documentation."
"I would appreciate a greater focus on agentic Gen AI applications in Bedrock."
"Amazon native models could proliferate Bedrock in the future. We would welcome Amazon native models to Bedrock since, if they are natively built by Amazon, they are tuned to SageMaker and other Amazon service layers."

"Bedrock could be improved by having an API that allows for easy integration with services outside of Bedrock."
"The user interface of Amazon Bedrock on the management console needs improvements."

"The cost of using Amazon Bedrock is quite high, as I incurred unexpected charges amounting to $130 USD within two weeks without actually deploying the model."
