The solution is useful for application development, but the user interface and user experience must be improved
The product must be made easier to use. The design is a bit tricky. When we log in to the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace and browse products, they look very small. The user experience must be improved. Alibaba Cloud must increase its partner network and brand awareness in our country. It will give our customers more opportunities to scale and save in the long run.

Advanced integration and flexible architecture drive efficient business solutions
I have to gain more maturity to provide some improvements to Amazon Bedrock. I have a lot to do with the environment they already provided. For example, they are able to connect to any LLM solution such as Llama, Meta, Gemini, or ChatGPT. It is open; you just choose your favorite LLM solution, and you can integrate it into Amazon Bedrock. We have a lot of possibilities to do this integration at this moment; we just need to work on it, create more maturity, and then we can provide some enhancements that we can see on the solution as a whole. For companies in general, the main pain point or main issue related to Amazon Bedrock is security because they are not confident that all information is hidden by this kind of architecture. They wonder if they are providing some company information that can run away, and I think that is the challenge we have now. We need to find ways to work on it and make our clients' data secure. They are looking for that to guarantee that this is a great solution for companies that is also secure.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The cost of hosting the solution is very reasonable; it's quite inexpensive and the solution is very secure."
"We use the solution to run VMs."
"It is easy to set up."
"Otherwise, the cost of Alibaba Cloud is reasonable, and service-wise, it's also good because it has many available services worth trying."
"Alibaba also offers a lot of flexibility compared to Google Cloud, where you can only use Google's Tools."
"It's easy to use, cheaper than other solutions, and more secure."
"We use the product for storage and as a VPN."
"What's good about Alibaba Cloud is its database service. It's also good in the virtual machine area."
"Amazon Bedrock is easy to use and practical, allowing for quick development."
"The impact of Amazon Bedrock's sophisticated natural language processing on our company's ability to predict future outcomes is very interesting because, before we were using some Python codes, we created server instances to upload it, and we had some difficulty integrating it with the ecosystem because all the features we were creating were manually based."
"One of the best features of Amazon Bedrock is that it is easy to use, and users do not have to worry about the infrastructure."
"Amazon Bedrock is very easy to configure and launch, and it takes care of the creation of Docker images with CodeBuild and putting the images into the ECR repository very simply and easily with the help of Agent Core and Amazon Bedrock Agent Core."
"Amazon Bedrock enabled the use of huge models and the democratization of their use at comparatively low cost, if we host these models in the company."
"It was absolutely useful and we found that we are getting 90 to 95% plus success rate while extracting the data from unstructured documents."
"Overall, I rate Amazon Bedrock ten out of ten."
"Amazon Bedrock offers an environment where we only pay for the model we use, and AWS handles the scaling."

Cons

"Users use websites as a tutorial. However, the Alibaba Cloud website has the content, and the scripts are copied from Amazon Web Services. We had received customer feedback where the customer asked us to get formulate original content instead of copying from Amazon Web Services. It’s very odd and awkward."
"Alibaba Cloud's initial setup is somewhat complex."
"The solution’s user interface could be improved."
"Customer support has a lot of room for improvement. There's just general documentation, general customer support, and general maturity of the processes are all lacking when compared to Amazon or Google."
"I would not recommend the solution to others."
"The flexibility of the solution could be improved."
"If you want more accuracy, stability, and 24/7 customer support, primarily relying on the SDKs and APIs, you should think twice."
"I wouldn't recommend Alibaba. I think other companies should just use Azure instead, as it's a much simpler solution."
"What could be improved for Amazon Bedrock to make it more mature is that AWS needs to consider bringing their platforms together, and not having different ML and AI platforms."
"Amazon Bedrock is quite highly scalable, but there are some limitations they impose on the accounts, which could be an area for improvement."
"For companies in general, the main pain point or main issue related to Amazon Bedrock is security because they are not confident that all information is hidden by this kind of architecture."
"Overall, I rate Amazon Bedrock a seven out of ten. It is slightly difficult to integrate with our product."
"While working with Bedrock, I incurred charges that were not explicitly mentioned in the pricing documentation."
"The user interface of Amazon Bedrock on the management console needs improvements. It's very bland at the moment."
"Bedrock could be improved by having an API that allows for easy integration with services outside of Bedrock."
"The end-to-end application setup integration was very difficult."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost is better than similar solutions."
"Pricing for Alibaba Cloud is a little bit cheaper. It has reasonable pricing."
"The price of Alibaba Cloud is good. If I was to use Microsoft Azure I would have to pay 30 percent more."
"The cost of Alibaba Cloud is lower than that of AWS, but I feel that its price is on the higher end of the spectrum. Alibaba Cloud charges its users a price in dollars"
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a three out of ten."
"I'm not sure about the exact pricing, but let's just say if it cost a dollar for Amazon AWS, it was closer to 70 to 80 cents for Alibaba Cloud."
"We cut our costs significantly by migrating our infrastructure to the cloud. Alibaba Cloud employs a pay-as-you-go model, so that minimizes many costs for us."
"Alibaba Cloud is cheaper."
"The cost of using Amazon Bedrock is quite high, as I incurred unexpected charges amounting to $130 USD within two weeks without actually deploying the model."
"One customer paid around $100 to $200 per month, which was significant given their overall infrastructure costs."
