A solution for site verifications and enhanced with adapters that provide more realistic readings, but needs to support Wi-Fi 6E
Ekahau and AirMagnet Survey have their own pros and cons, in my opinion. For example, the APs are not visible in Ekahau but AirMagnet Survey allows us to see what APs and channels are being used in a live view, which Ekahau lacks. In Ekahau, the signal from the AP it's capturing at that time is visible which is a bit of an inconvenience. The predictive planner of AirMagnet's is better. However, Ekahau has advantages over AirMagnet because it groups all the SSIDs into one AP, whereas with AirMagnet, one needs to group them manually. Ekahau also supports Wi-Fi 6E, but its licensing is restrictive and more costly.

Deep eBPF insights have strengthened cluster security and simplified mesh troubleshooting
The documentation is good, but they could improve in that area. Someone who is new to networking might feel daunted going through all those detailed materials. They could have high-level documentation first, and if anyone wants to deep dive into any areas, they can read more on that. They could segregate the information in the documentation. Documentation is one of the major areas for improvement. Apart from that, the product is quite good. I love it, and everything is good. The AI features are okay. They are still researching and improving in that area, but the guardrails are good, and everything works as expected for now. However, I think it would be good if they improve in that area. I would not say it is 100% correct. Sometimes it does hallucinate, but overall it is good.

Pros

"ROI is always the best satisfaction that we get after the 99% accurate results."
"We're happy with both."
"Customer Service: Excellent. Technical Support: Excellent."
"The predictive survey is the most valuable feature. I use it quite often."
"It allows us to prepare more real designs, and later we validate them with actual surveys."
"Customer service is great."
"The most valuable features are the survey, spectrum analysis, and reporting."
"It is a good product and has good support."
"Isovalent is easy to use and very fast to set up all the things, and if I had used other tools instead of Isovalent, it would take maybe one or two days; however, using Isovalent will reduce your time and it completes within one to two hours."
"Isovalent has positively impacted my organization by ensuring that after moving to Isovalent products, we trust the tools we chose for the community, particularly the powerful tools such as Cilium."
"Using Isovalent's Cilium, I have seen that it will be really helpful for the design and implementation teams who are actually building this cluster and providing it to the end users."
"Isovalent is a quite good company, and I love their products."
"We have noticed reduced incidents as a specific outcome that shows how things improved."

Cons

"Stability is not really too good when you have larger floor plans."
"There is a feature "no auto-save" when the Proxim USB is disattached accidentally during survey."
"One of the problems with AirMagnet, in our organization, is the cost it takes to maintain our licensing."
"We have had a problem with reporting module, it can't put the full size picture of floor plan in report."
"I haven't been able to decide whether it is stable. I've had issues every now and again, but I cannot 100 percent say it was the fault of the software or the fault of my laptop."
"The product would frequently crash and this was on different laptop platforms."
"It'd be nice if it was cheaper, however, you get value for your money."
"Often, AirMagnet will crash and you will have to reboot your laptop or tablet to start it again. Data will be lost if you haven’t saved it."
"Sometimes I feel the costing is a bit high, on the higher side."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is an annual cost of the solution. There are some additional charges, such as support and maintenance."
"For technical support, you need an annual license, but it is not worth it."
"This product is very expensive."
"The licensing of AirMagnet Survey is different when compared to Ekahu. It is a third of the cost of Ekahau but there are no dedicated laptops to the Sidekick. AirMagnet allows you to license an adapter and share that adapter."
"The moment we began needing more of the vendor's support, the cost became very high; we switched to another solution."
"The tool's pricing is medium."
"The pricing needs improvement."
